Red Carpet Trend Watch: Peplums And Mono Prints Rule
When Miranda Kerr, Blake Lively, Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone worked the red carpet at the Museum of Modern Art’s 4th Annual Film benefit, a tribute to cult director Pedro Almodovar, last night, we couldn’t help but notice a couple of trends emerging from their high-fashion looks. Miranda Kerr and Blake Lively were pioneering the ever-flattering peplum, Miranda in a futuristic zip-front Peter Pilotto dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels, and Blake in a clashing textured number from her go-to label, Chanel. We’re huge fans of the peplum too – if you’re feeling bloated, it hides the bulge, but if you need help creating curves, you’ll have them in a flash. They’re sticking around for SS12 too, with Celine, Thakoon and Jason Wu all loving the design detail.
Monochrome prints were another major style player last night thanks to Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde. Emma went for a smudgy Chanel Couture print dress that was all about the details, with a leg split, amped up corsage and ruched waist, while Olivia looked demure in her midi dress, satin pumps and dainty beaded clutch. We have long been a fan of Drew Barrymore's hippy hairstyle, especially when she took the plunge from light brown to fiery carrot, and her new dark mahogany shade complements her English rose complexion perfectly. Love that eye make-up against her green eyes, too.

Drew Barrymore Hits The Bottle – Of Hair Dye, That Is!
We’ve long been fans of Drew Barrymore’s bedhead hair here at LOOK, but today our love for her tresses grew even deeper after she debuted a new fiery shade. Somewhere between Cheryl Cole and Florence Welch’s hair colour, Drew’s coppery hair shade looks amazing against her green eyes and dewy skin. She looked like she might have been road-testing her Coachella wardrobe, too (the festival kicks off in California tomorrow), with a rocky combo of a leather jacket, skinnies and lace-up boots accessorised with a cool feather earring. Beauty Update: Drew Barrymore’s Hair And Nails...
Drew Barrymore gave us all the inspiration we needed for our new year beauty look when she stepped out at the Covergirl Cosmetics 50th Anniversary party in West Hollywood looking hotter than ever in a tangerine bandeau dress, complete with fashion-forward accessories and a hot new beauty makeover. Our fave actress gave us a lesson or two on how to update our new beauty regime with colour-pop nails, a sunkissed glow, red/coral lips and her infamous dip-dye hairstyle – making her the perfect fashion and beauty mistress for 2011.
And Drew’s not the only one who’s been rocking last year’s dip-dye hair craze, as Nicki Minaj showcased her wacky streaks this week, too. Wowsers! There was no missing Drew Barrymore on the red carpet at the Covergirl 50th Anniversary party in LA last night in her zingy bandeau dress. Thanks to that neon shade and minimalist design we instantly recognised it as one of Jil Sander’s amazing spring/summer 2011 creations and Drew played by the runway rules accessory-wise sticking to a subtle gold ring and structured clutch. Attention ladies, it’s time to take lead from the military-inspired pieces as seen on the autumn/winter 2010 catwalks! Drew Barrymore, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen have all fallen in line and taken fashion orders from the utility trend by adding softer military pieces including short-sleeved army jackets and cargo trousers into their autumn wardrobes – we approve! Drew Barrymore Does Dress-Down Chic
Continuing on her fashion roll promoting her new movie Going The Distance, Drew Barrymore hits us with yet another fashion fabulous outfit. Keeping with her laid-back yet glam look, Drew hit the concrete carpet for an appearance on The Daily Show last night in a grey tee, utility jacket (love the cuffed sleeves) and that want-it-now purple pop skirt. She also gave her grey YSL Trib Two’s their third outing of the week, but with heels that hot we can’t blame her. One things for sure, her new look is really going the distance – keep those outfits coming Drew! FD

Drew Barrymore Goes For Gold At Her LA Premiere
Drew Barrymore nailed red carpet glamour in a wow-worthy gold dress by fashion designer Catherine Malandrino at the Los Angeles premiere for her latest film, Going The Distance. The actress ditched her relaxed red carpet style that we’ve grown to love of late for a sleek, chic and ultra-glam get-up as she hung out with co-star and rumored boyfriend (yet again), Justin Long. Contrasting silver platforms by YSL and a waist-cinching gold belt by Balmain finished the look to perfection and managed to steal her the style crown from other celebrity attendees including Kate Beckinsale, The Hills star Stephanie Pratt and Malin Akerman. How much do we want Drew’s wardrobe right now? Someone give that girl's stylist a pay rise! SD
