Claire Danes & Chloë Sevigny Step Out In Style
Claire Danes and Chloë Sevigny rocked the red capet last night to celebrate the launch of HBO's ‘new’ Sex and the City – a comedy called Girls.
Claire Danes (we are loving her in Homelands) went for a hot geometric print midi dress splash of green neon whilst kooky chick Chloë Sevigny worked her new cropped hairstyle (we’re undecided) in a paisley print mini paired with black biker boots.
Both gals looked excited to see the new TV comedy from Judd Apatow (the producer of hit film Bridesmaids)… it’s based on a group of girls in their twenties trying to make it in New York. Think a sexier, dirtier and funnier version of Sex and The City. One to watch out for, ladies. PS

LOOK Loves: The Boy-Meets-Girl Fashion Trend
Suffering from sparkly party dress fatigue already? Fear not, girlie and frou-frou isn’t your only wardrobe option this Christmas. Chloë Sevigny and Rose Byrne both stepped out in off-beat androgynous fashion looks yesterday, and provided us with some major style inspiration. Chloë Sevigny went all out masculine in a loose fitting suit, but added feminine touches in her signature quirky way with a dogtooth check blouse, red lips and matching bow-topped platform courts. She brings new meaning to the phrase city slicker, eh?
Rose Byrne kept it a little more girlie and figure-fitting in cigarette trousers, a polka-dot shirt and patent pumps. Her all-important styling trick? Buttoning the shirt right to the top for a preppy, boyish feel. Think classic Alexa Chung and you’re bang on the money. Feeling inspired? Head to high street fashion favourite Zara for luxe tux blazers, Topshop for tailored trousers and check out Warehouse for shirts with a feminine spin. Chloe Sevigny Shows Her Dark Side With A New Hairstyle
Style chameleon Chloe Sevigny debuted a new look at Paris Fashion Week, where she rocked a dark brunette hairstyle on the runway at Kenzo’s SS12 fashion show. We’ve done some digging and it looks like Chloe has ditched her signature blonde locks for a darker ‘do while filming her new Sky Atlantic HD series Hit And Miss. We wonder if Miss Sevigny thinks it’s brunettes who have all the fun, or if she'll be back to blonde before you know it. CS

Solange Knowles And Chloë Sevigny Hit The Kenzo Fashion Show
Solange Knowles is fast becoming a front row regular thanks to her cool style, and she stole the show catwalk-side at the Kenzo fashion show SS12. Beyonce’s sister rocked a killer print clash of a striped jumper with tasselled shoulders and on-the-money bird print skirt, which made the perfect Paris Fashion Week day look paired with minimal make-up and her amazing afro hairstyle.
But while all eyes may have been on Ms Knowles pre and post catwalk, once the show started it was all about Chloë Sevigny, who walked the runway in an electric blue jumpsuit and showed off a new brunette hairstyle. We’re so used to Chloe’s signature tousled blonde locks we had to do a double take to make sure it was really her! We’ve got to be honest, we prefer her as a blonde, but she gave such a killer catwalk turn we’ll get over it! GG

Hollywood’s Cool Crowd Hits The Red Carpet
You don’t get more fashion forward than the guest list at Target’s GQ International Designers Collective Launch. The cult US bargain store, famous for it’s hook-ups with designers including Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and Mulberry threw a bash to celebrate the re-release of the most popular pieces from past collections, and the celebs were out in force. First up a wardrobe double whammy from Liv Tyler and Chloë Sevigny, all statement shoes – Liv’s are from Chloë’s latest collection for Opening Ceremomy – and kooky hair. We almost thought Ms Tyler had gone for an undercut, but it’s just a sneaky side plait. Gorgeous actress Lake Bell made off-duty work for the red carpet in a cute skirt and sweater combo and the sort of just-got-out-of-bed hair that we can never seem to get right, sigh.
We’re considering a trip across the pond just to raid Target’s rails. GG

Beauty Inspiration: Pale IS Interesting
We may be seeing the first exciting hints of spring, but we’re already considering skipping the fake tan entirely. Well, this week at least. Everyone from Liv Tyler to Dianna Agron are going more St Ives than St Tropez, so it’s time to embrace our UK glow and be happy with pale. Hey, it works wonders for Robert Pattinson!
Here are our top three tips on how to make the most of pale skin:
- Any bright, bold shock of colour on the lips will set off pale skin and make it glow. We love No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Gay Geranium, £10 – the perfect spring pout.

Chloe Sevigny, our favourite fashion maverick, perked up her all black look with a huge violet bloom at the Hugo Boss show in Berlin today. That and her cool orange lip are all she needs to make the simple outfit statement. The ever-experimental fashionista Chloë Sevigny hit the red carpet in LA on Wednesday night in this amazing oriental-inspired creation. We love the swirly print and cute cutouts of her new-season frock (if only we had abs like hers!), but what we really fell for were her amazing heels. Those red and gold lovelies are the perfect spring 2011 shoe. She topped her look off with a signature tangerine lipstick and wavy bob.
