Fashion Site Very.com Launches Stateside In Showbiz Style
Very.com, home to some of our favourite celebrity high-street collections, such as Fearne Cotton and Diana Vickers’ Dee V, launched in the US last night, drawing quite the A-list crowd. Very campaign girl and rumoured designer Whitney Port worked an amped-up, casual look in metallic tweed trousers and a cable knit, teamed with the shoe trend of the season, glitter heels, while Cat Deeley toned down her sparkling pink maxi with an oversized bobble-knit cardigan. Looking cosy, ladies – who knew knitwear could work so well on the red carpet?
Also at the LA bash were 90210's Shenae Grimes and offbeat designer Jeremy Scott – ooh, do we sniff a cool new diffusion line? Fingers crossed! GG

Mulberry’s Celeb-Packed LA Pool Party
Warning: this story might make you seriously green with envy! Pro party throwers Mulberry held what looked like the most fun fashion bash ever at the infamous Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jaime King, in a Mulberry ‘Scout’ shirt, denim skirt and those Miu Miu glitter shoes and Cat Deeley in a Mulberry biker jacket, joined Kate Bosworth, Louise Roe and Mulberry Creative Director Emma Hill for fun and frolics beside the pool.
The A-list crowd partied amongst super-sized ice creams and a menagerie of animal balloons – a reference to Mulberry’s key SS12 print – and were treated to a performance from lady of the moment Lana Del Rey before sitting down to a dinner of crab cakes, salmon and lemon tart for afters. So far, so amazing, but to top it all off, guests left clutching one killer goody bag, piled high with Mulberry treats including a ‘Bonkers Beach’ print bikini, jelly sandals, a sweatshirt and satchel. OK, we officially need to become famous! Wonder how many celebs woke up with an inflatable alligator in their bedroom this morning? GG

The Celebs Dress Up For Dinner With Chanel
While most of us made do with a microwave meal in front of the telly last night, the A-list donned their glad rags to dine in style with designer fashion brand Chanel. Kate Bosworth, Cat Deeley, Hailee Steinfeld and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne joined fellow celebs Christina Hendricks, Lily Collins and Elle Fanning at the LA event.
Kate Bosworth worked the ultimate Chanel combo of a chain-trim blouse and boucle skirt, while Poppy showed off another signature look in a tweed mini dress – both accessorised with classic quilted Chanel arm candy, natch. Teen starlet Hailee Steinfeld gave the veteran stylistas a run for their money with her offbeat dress and toe cap boots, and ever-glam Cat Deeley shimmered in a lurex boho dress and matching metallic heels with a perfectly tousled golden hairstyle. Well, you’ve got to make an effort for Chanel, haven’t you? GG

Hollywood’s Glam Squad Hit The Burberry Body Party
Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey held a star-studded launch for the British fashion label’s latest fragrance, Body, in LA last night. The fashion brand's devotees were out in force and leading the pack was Burberry Body poster gal, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wowed in a slinky champagne cocktail dress and matching heels. Cat Deeley worked a glam rock tux look, pairing her white blazer with Burberry’s must-have leather skinnies and cool buckle-up boots.
Kate Bosworth and Solange Knowles showed just how ahead of the style curve they are in printed looks from Burberry’s SS12 tribal inspired collection. We’ve already spotted Leighton Meester rocking Solange’s beaded heels – an early contender for next season’s ‘It’ shoe we reckon. Sadly, buying Burberry Body won’t give us Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s hot model bod, but it’s on the Christmas wish-list anyway! GG

Cat Deeley And Jaime King Wow At The Veuve Clicquout Polo
Cat Deeley and Jaime King gave us a whopping case of wardrobe envy this weekend as they hit the Veuve Clicquout Polo Classic 2011 in LA. While we were digging out our winter coats and wrapping up against the autumn chill, the Hollywood style set enjoyed a never-ending summer. Cat Deeley looked ready for cocktails by the beach in her cutout detail maxi dress, aviators and hippy bangle pile up, while Jaime King also rocked a neutral dress - though the sequins on her Jason Wu frock and fierce heels upped the glam ante. Other A-listers enjoying the sunshine and champagne included Ali Larter, who looked super cute in a navy playsuit, Camilla Belle and a back-in-the-spotlight Lauren Conrad. Gwyneth Paltrow And Cat Deeley – Our Fave Emmy Dresses!
Trying to pick our favourite looks from the Emmy Awards 2011 this morning was not an easy task! Hollywood’s finest took to the red carpet in an array of amazing gowns, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Cat Deeley blew us away with their glam looks. Gwyneth flaunted her toned figure in an ab-flashing black Pucci number, while Cat went for a princess worthy glittering tulle gown from Monique Lhuillier. The other A-list attendees provided some fierce style competition though, from Lea Michele’s red-hot Marchesa floor sweeper to Kelly Osbourne’s curve clinging J. Mendel dress. Teen Choice Awards 2011: Red Carpet Round Up
It was a battle of brights versus neutrals on the Teen Choice Awards 2011 red carpet, as Hollywood’s heavy hitters went head to head. In the nude corner Cameron Diaz, who bagged the Best Comedy Actress surf board for Bad Teacher, offset her golden glow to perfection in a teeny A.L.C. bandeau and kooky Burak Uyan heels, while Selena Gomez looked dreamy in a champagne Erin Fetherson creation and clashing Brian Atwood strappies.
Blake Lively and Cat Deeley brought the colour to the blue carpet, Blake in juicy orange leather Gucci and animal print Louboutin courts, and Cat in a tropical turquoise lace shift dress and pin-stretching (like she needs any help in that department) nude shoes. While we love a bit of popping colour for a summer strut down the red carpet, we’ve got to say that this time subtle neutrals paired with statement accessories wins hands down. Hailee Steinfeld Leads The A-List At Miu Miu's Glam Party
Last night, the most elite members of the style set glammed up for a Miu Miu bash in Beverly Hills. The designer label's poster girl Hailee Steinfeld was of course in attendance, looking as cute as a button in a blush-pink shift dress with an embellished Peter Pan collar and matching accessories. With Miss Steinfeld's style credentials already firmly cemented at just 14 years old, something tells us we’ve got a lot of knockout outfits to look forward to.
Fellow fashion power player Diane Kruger joined in the fun in an elegant LBD jazzed up with delicately embroidered sleeves. And Emma Roberts and Cat Deeley brought the glitz in their metallic minis – Cat in a thigh-skimmer dripping with beads, and Emma in a gold leather Miu Miu AW11 frock. Miss Roberts almost fooled us into thinking she’d had the chop, until we saw her wavy locks were just pinned back. Ah, just another dazzling night in fashion land, then. Not that we’re jealous or anything! GG

Cat Deeley Rocks This Season’s Little White Frock
Stash your LBD, ladies, because this summer is all about the LWF – little white frock. Cat Deeley chose this gorgeous white D&G shift dress to wear to last night’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards 2011, and we can see why. White is one of this season's hottest shades (rocked on a whopping 27 catwalks, no less) and it has the power to bring out sunkissed skin in an instant. We’ll be channelling Cat's look come the weekend with this Dorothy Perkins lookalike and piling on the gold jewellery for some serious St Tropez glamour. Fake tan at the ready! SR

Cat Deeley Leads The Glam Pack At The Bafta TV Awards 2011
Britain’s hottest export Cat Deeley certainly set the style standard at the Bafta TV Awards 2011. She may have snubbed summer’s key bright colours for classic black, but the TV presenter smouldered in her lace Christian Dior gown and heirloom-style jewels. Model Daisy Lowe followed suit colour-wise, upping the va va voom with a sheer Craig Lawrence number – accessorised with a sultry pout and Doctor Who beau Matt Smith. But bringing a totally different dose of glamour to the red carpet were The Only Way Is Essex girls, who out-glitzed the other attendees with more sequins than you can shake a stick at. Sam Faiers’ monochrome Diane Von Furstenberg floor sweeper gets our Best Dressed Essex Girl vote. They’ll be glad they pulled out all the stops after TOWIE was the surprise hit of the night, taking home the YouTube Audience prize, beating Downton Abbey and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. Something tells us we’ve not seen the last of the Essex lot. GG
