Pixie Lott's casual bun is a hit at MTV's The Summer Song show in Italy. The low-slung 'do is fast becoming a new trend and isn't short of celeb fans.

Pixie Lott jumps on the low bun bandwagon with her simple updo, worn backstage after her MTV performance. It's a great way to get rid of bad hair days and is fantastically easy to recreate at home. Anna Friel is another fan of this hairstyle, as she's been seen sporting a low bun playing Audrey Hepburn's role in a stage adaptation of Breakfast at Tiffanys. To get the look make a centre parting and rub a little texturising spray on the mid sections. Pin back, secure with hairspray and voila!
