SAG Awards Hair Trend 2012: Straight & Simple Hair Rocks
Angelina Jolie and Lea Michele both opted for simple hairstyles at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012 and, boy, did they work wonders! The two style champions stormed the celebrity hair charts by ditching fancy updos for straight, simple and volumised hairstyles.
Angelina let her Jenny Packham gown do the talking as she stepped out with a volumised blow-dry teamed with smoky eyes, pink lips and flawless skin – we think she looks better than ever.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012: Battle Of The Black Dresses
Awards season is in full swing Stateside, and last night the Hollywood elite took to the red carpet once again for another biggie, the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012. The dress code? Classic black if attendees Angelina Jolie, Amber Heard, Ashlee Simpson and Emma Stone’s dresses are anything to go buy. The four starlets went head to head in the failsafe shade, and boy was the competition tough!
Angelina and Ashlee both opted for dramatic creations from British fashion designer Jenny Packham, Angelina in a slinky black lame halter gown and Ashlee in a vintage style beaded floor sweeper. Emma Stone got it spot on in a pouffy Alexander McQueen prom dress and signature McQueen knuckle duster clutch, but we’ve got to say, Amber Heard gets our black dress vote after knocking it out of the ball park with a gorgeous cut out Zac Posen gown and quirky quiffed hair. Top marks ladies – black has never looked less boring! GG

Yes, we know these shots of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are slightly sickening first thing on a Monday morning, but we couldn’t resist. Even both dressed in all-black – Angelina in lacy cut-out Michael Kors and Brad in a Gucci tux – Hollywood’s hottest couple managed to steal the spotlight at the Producers Guild of America Awards 2012 in LA. Brad may have stepped aside to let Ange pose for the paps and show off her sexy thigh split, but she was soon back by his side for a red carpet PDA. To be fair, if we had Brad to accessorise with we wouldn’t put him down either! GG

Angelina Jolie must be feeling very smug this morning after pulling off a corker of a red carpet look at the Golden Globes 2012. Angelina Jolie looked sultry as ever in an oyster satin Atelier Versace dress tipped with a flash of scarlet at the neck, which she complimented with a coordinating satin clutch and lip. Letting the curve-clinging fabric and racy thigh split speak for themselves, a sleek up do, smoky eyes and eye popping diamond earrings were all that was needed to finish off the glamour packed ensemble. Oh, and Brad Pitt looking dapper in a Tom Ford tux on her arm. The pair may have lost out on their respective Globe nominations for Best Actor in a Drama, Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Foreign Language Film, but they definitely get our best dressed couple gong! At the New York Film Critics Circle Awards 2012, Mrs Brad Pitt managed to make a rather everyday ensemble of a blouse, pencil skirt and black courts ooze wow factor.
The trick? It’s all in the combo of a silky top and sexy leather skirt – nothing says luxe like a texture clash, especially in timeless monochrome, though pairing two contrasting colours nails the look too. So if you’ve already got the blouse, treat yourself to a pencil skirt or vice versa, et voila, you’re red carpet ready! Sadly, the Angelina out and bouncy blowdry aren’t so easily attainable. GG

Angelina Jolie stole the show as she stepped out at the Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend. With smouldering eye make-up, the Hollywood star looked simply stunning in a nude pleated dress by Elie Saab – we love! Angelina was accompanied by her partner Brad Pitt who looked super-dapper in a Versace suit. Brad was handed the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his performances in Moneyball and The Tree of Life – we know what films we’ll be hiring next from Blockbuster! Also at the event were actresses Olivia Wilde, Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams, who wore a nude Prada dress and won the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn. The hottest couple in celebsville hit Los Angeles yesterday for the premiere of Angelia's directional debut, In The Land Of Blood And Honey: Ange, in a beautiful one-shouldered blue Romona Keveza dress and Jimmy Choos, her man Brad in a dapper three piece Tom Ford suit - the pair in matching colours, naturally!
Angelina's actor father Jon Voight and brother James Haven also turned up to show their support, but what we really want to know is, where are her brood? Her new flick, based on a Muslim woman who falls in love with a Serbian, hits cinemas this Christmas.
