The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012: Battle Of The Black Dresses
Awards season is in full swing Stateside, and last night the Hollywood elite took to the red carpet once again for another biggie, the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012. The dress code? Classic black if attendees Angelina Jolie, Amber Heard, Ashlee Simpson and Emma Stone’s dresses are anything to go buy. The four starlets went head to head in the failsafe shade, and boy was the competition tough!
Angelina and Ashlee both opted for dramatic creations from British fashion designer Jenny Packham, Angelina in a slinky black lame halter gown and Ashlee in a vintage style beaded floor sweeper. Emma Stone got it spot on in a pouffy Alexander McQueen prom dress and signature McQueen knuckle duster clutch, but we’ve got to say, Amber Heard gets our black dress vote after knocking it out of the ball park with a gorgeous cut out Zac Posen gown and quirky quiffed hair. Top marks ladies – black has never looked less boring! GG

Johnny Depp Joins Amber Heard At The Rum Diary Premiere
Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard looked every inch the Hollywood stars for the New York premiere of their new movie The Rum Diary. Rising star Amber Heard (trust us, you're going to be seeing her everywhere) went for a demure high-neck, low-back black dress, which she accessorised with vintage diamanté earrings and neon-pink lips. And Johnny looked dapper in a grey and black checked suit complete with a flat cap. We've said it once and we'll say it again, it takes a sexy man to pull off a flat cap and Johnny totally rocks it! Amber Heard’s A Knockout In Julien MacDonald
Amongst all the Golden Globes 2011 madness this week, we almost missed these shots of Amber Heard looking beyond amazing at the Art of Elysium Gala in LA. The mirrored Julian MacDonald maxi looks like it was made to cling to her curves, and we love, love, love how she’s gone all Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct with the plunging neckline, pout and slicked back quiff. Vampish glam at it’s best - we think we might have a new girl crush. GG
