Chanel’s Futuristic Paris Fashion Show AW12: We Love!
As one of the most anticipated shows at Paris Fashion Week, we certainly had high expectations when it came to Chanel’s offerings for AW12 and, boy, did Karl Lagerfeld deliver! With a backdrop of a protruding crystalline skyline, the models showcased tweed three-piece suits with gem cuffs and feather appliqué, and oil-slick dresses. And their make-up consisted of crystal-covered eyebrows – very fitting for the Paris catwalks, but probably not suitable for a trip to our local on a Saturday night! And, of course, it wouldn't be a Chanel fashion show without a couple of A-List celebs sitting on the front row. Kooky Katy Perry appeared to be loving her time in France, as she sported a small beret-style hat and a black lace dress to the show, while Alicia Keys opted for ethnic-inspired statement jewellery. All in all, the Chanel fashion show was everything we've come to expect from Lagerfeld – new, fresh, and in a league of its own! ME

Check Out Alicia Keys' Gravity Defying Hairstyle!
And the award for wackiest hairstyle of the week goes to…Alicia Keys! Stepping out at the Biutiful film screening in New York last night, Alicia looked like she’d been taking styling tips from Danny Zuko – just check out that quiff! We’re loving the messy bun, but somehow we don’t think we’ll be working the quiff in the office tomorrow. Wonder how many cans of Elnett Alicia’s hairstylist got through creating that amount of volume? Ozone layer, beware! HE

Alicia Keys Celebrates Her Pregnancy In Style
After working the red carpet at her fundraising ball in a stunning Dolce & Gabbana dress Alicia Keys rallied up her showbiz friends for a glitzy after party. And there was one big reason to party – her pregnancy. Alicia splashed out on nine magnums of Dom Perignon in the VIP area of London’s trendy Merah club to celebrate the news but as her pals sipped champagne she stuck to cranberry juice.
The whole club stood still to see Alicia – who had earlier been at her Keeping The Child Alive Black Ball, which raises money for children with AIDS in Africa – toasting her baby news with her man, hip hop music producer fiancé, Swizz Beatz. Friends on her private table included Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am, Sugababes singer Jade Ewen, shoe designer Christian Louboutin and singer Gabriella Cilmi. Will.I.Am generously ordered an extra 12 bottles of Dom Perignon, and four bottles of Cristal in just one hour totting up a bill just short of £15,000. Giorgio Armani Designs Alicia Keys’ Tour Outfits
Giorgio Armani has been busy! As well as specially designing Lady Gaga’s recent American Idol outfit, it has been announced that he will produce a custom wardrobe for Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom European tour. Armani and Alicia have collaborated many times before, and he also designed the costumes for her 2008 As I Am tour. But the ante has well and truly been upped this time with stud, sequin, crystal and metal details adorning military jackets and lamé mini dresses, plus a stunning signature floorsweeper. We love a good fashion and music hook-up. - GG
Alicia Keys' The Element of Freedom tour begins in Lisbon on 29 April and continues throughout Europe until early June 2010.
