Alexandra Burke & Louise Roe Hit Chloe Green's Shoe Launch
Chloe Green held a celebratory soiree last night in honour of her CJG – Chloe Jade Green - shoe line hitting Topshop tomorrow (check out our interview with the Topshop heiress in this week’s issue) and her celeb friends were out in force.
Chloe, working sports luxe side stripe trousers and platform peep toes from the collection – there’s no mistaking those jade green soles – cosied up to party pal Alexandra Burke, who went for an 80’s inspired look in wacky printed leggings and an oversized red leather bomber. Also in attendance was fellow shoe designer Louise Roe, looking effortlessly cool as ever in a laidback combo of denim shirt, leather shorts and a metallic satchel. The stylista completed the look with a pair of Aztec wedges from her Stylistpick high summer collection, which lands online at the end of this month. Wonder if she collared Chloe to swap design ides? Tess Daly defied the rubbish weather and looked ready for spring in her acid yellow Whistles ‘Dotty’ dress, while TOWIE glamazons Lauren Pope and Chloe Sims rocked their usual uniform of thigh skimming mini’s and drainpipe leather leggings. Complete with big hair and even bigger heels, of course. With skyscraper stilettos, wonder wedges and fierce shoe boots all on offer from Chloe’s first collection, we predict a stampede when Topshop opens it’s doors tomorrow. GG

Alexandra Burke Launches Her New MUA Lip Range!
Alexandra Burke has been a very busy girl! Not content with being one of the hottest popstars in the UK, she’s now branching out into the beauty world and launching her own range of lip colours.
In collaboration with MUA, Ms Burke will be releasing eight ‘Lip Booms’, with a lipstick on one end and a gloss on the other – these are a handbag must-have! The official launch party for the range took place last night and Alex was papped looking fabulous as always.
Lip Booms cost just £3 each, and with such a bargain price tag we predict this range will sell out in no time! The eight shades will go on sale in Superdrug and on www.muastore.co.uk from 9 May – mark the date in your diary now! VJ

Hairstyle How-To Video: The Rope Plait
Welcome to another Friday Night Hair how-to video! This week Katie Chan, LOOK’s Deputy Beauty Editor, will be showing you how to create a really easy rope plait hairstyle. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s a 3D plait that pretty much looks like a rope. You won’t need much product for this, but you will require some help from a friend – it’s a two man job. Practise makes perfect, but we predict it'll be a total winner – move over fishtail plaits, the rope plait has landed. SF

Party Watch! Alexandra Burke Hits The Dolce & Gabbana Bash
Here at LOOK we're always on party watch and last night saw the stars step out for a swanky Dolce & Gabbana party at Net-a-porter.com head quarters. Over 300 guests including Naomi Campbell, Pixie Lott, Kelly Osbourne, Jaime Winstone and co all turned out for the bash near Westfield shopping centre but it was popster Alexandra Burke who stole the limelight (and all the paparazzi attention!)
Held in celebration of Dolce & Gabbana hitting Net-a-porter.com and Mrporter.com for the first time, they ensured it was the hot ticket in London town last night with Bip Ling hitting the decks and Sunday Girl performing an acoustic set.
Back to Alexandra's outfit... We'll always love a bit of hot pink and with Alexandra's gorgeous complexion, the hue looks hotter than ever. How cute is that bow topped clutch bag? You've nailed it Alex! LW
