Carey Mulligan Auctions Her Prada Met Ball Dress!
Carey Mulligan’s custom-made sequin Prada dress that she wore to the Met Ball on Monday barely had a chance to get to the dry cleaners – she’s just put it on eBay to raise money for charity! With the current bid standing at £634.24 (there’s still 8 days and 11 hours left, FYI), all proceeds will go to Oxfam America. Thankfully, Carey’s not short of outfits to wear to celeb events – the star stepped out in London last night with her new hubby Marcus Mumford at the ARK Dinner 2012 looking almost office-appropriate in a teal pencil skirt and black top. Beyonce Causes A Photographer Frenzy At The Met Ball!
Beyonce stole the limelight at The Costume Institute Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum! The star wore a dramatic (and daringly sheer) gown by Givenchy - we'd hate to see her dry cleaning bill! Amy Adams worked the monochrome trend as seen at Emporio Armani with an assymetrical gown by Giambattista Valli, top marks for tapping into the metallic trend with shimmery accessories. That glossy do is almost more shiny than Carey's dress! Also at the event were Scarlett Johansson, Camilla Belle, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Karolina Kurkova. We bet the red carpet was almost thread bare with these star studded arrivals! HE

Kylie Minogue Rocks Fiery Prada Heels
She's the queen of sophisticated casual style, so it was only natural that Kylie Minogue would be the next celeb to rock Prada's Hot Rod heels - only this time with rolled up boyfriend jeans and a slouchy tee.
Favoured by the likes of Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, Prada's Fifties style flame shoes are the cremé de la cremé of statement fashion footwear, and we've fallen head over heels for Kylie's sumptious emerald pair.
Better yet, we can't fault the teeny popstar for teaming them with such an achievable casual look. Kylie's style masterclass? Those fab summer shoes eagerly hidden at the back of your wardrobe are the perfect daytime accessory, with or without summer sunshine, so start parading them with confidence. HG

Fashion Round Up: A-List Glamour At The White House Dinner
When an invite to dinner at The White House with the Obama’s lands on your doormat, you know your failsafe LBD isn’t going to cut it in the fashion stakes. Oscar-worthy red carpet glamour was the order of the day at The White House Correspondents Association dinner this weekend, with A-list guests including Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Dakota Fanning and Zooey Deschanel pulling out all the stops.
Kate and Kim went for jewel toned showstopping gowns, Kate sparking in midnight blue Jenny Packham (we wonder if she’s been looking to a certain British Kate for style inspiration - Jenny is one of her go-to designers after all) and gave us major bun envy with her golden locks piled on her head in a whopping top knot. Kim, who attended the soiree with her mum Kris Jenner instead of rumoured beau Kanye West, went down the Grecian goddess route in an embellished green velvet gown. Dakota Fanning and Zooey Deschanel glistened on the red carpet in ornate metallic dresses, Dakota in vintage-esque Prada, which she let do the talking with a make-up free face and loose, simple tresses, and Zooey in petal embellished Oscar De La Renta. With the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Charlize Theron and Claire Danes also on the guestlist, the Obama’s bash was like the dinner party of dreams! Kate Middleton's Fab Fashion Run Continues...
Kate Middleton stepped out in not one, but two fashion fabulous outfits yesterday, and we just can't decide which one we love more.
Hitting a string of events in the capital alongside her adoring husband Prince William, Kate's first fashion fab look was a stunning blue Rebecca Taylor tweed suit, which she paired with an Anya Hindmarch Marano clutch bag for a touch of daytime glamour.
She changed for an evening event at the Imperial War Museum into a slinky grey dress by fashion designer Amanda Wakeley which she dressed up with plenty of jaw-dropping accessories. From her Prada heels, to her satin black clutch and waist-cinching metallic belt it's clear the Duchess of Cambridge has an eye for fashion detail, and we can't wait to see what she rocks next. HG

Hollywood's Leading Ladies Go Red In This Week's Best Dressed!
Ditching flash trends in favour of old-school Hollywood glamour, Scarlett Johansson, Emily Blunt and Kate Mara looked breathtaking in captivating shades of red, as they wow in this week's best-dressed list.
While Emily chose a ladylike lace dress for the Tribeca Film Festival, Scarlett ensured all eyes were on her at the premiere of The Avengers in a floral Prada creation that she accessorized with a striking lip and matching red Louboutin heels.
Although we love metallics, colour-blocking and pastels, we find it hard to deny that nothing beats a glamorous shade of ruby on the red carpet! HG

Scarlett Johansson Looks Rosy On The Red Carpet
Scarlett Johansson bags LOOK's best-dressed gong for her outfit at the ‘Avengers Assemble’ premiere in London last night. The Hollywood beauty braved the rain in a quirky but sophisticated Prada frock with red rose embroidery and a waist enhancing peplum, adding signature Scarlett sex appeal were a pair of blood red Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps and matching pout.
We can only assume the unfinished hem was an intentional design detail though– surely stars of Ms Johansson’s calibre have people on hand to attend to such things! GG

Alice Eve Is Pretty In Prada
Prada’s 50s Americana-inspired SS12 collection is getting some serious A-list love, with everyone from Freida Pinto to Kate Bosworth and Dakota Fanning stepping out in the designs, and now Brit girl Alice Eve is getting in on the action.
Alice ticked off spring's pastel craze nicely in a head-to-toe look from the Italian label at ‘The Raven’ premiere in New York last night, opting for a powder blue dip hem dress and matching jewel-toe ‘Taillight’ wedges. The English rose completed her look with a fifties-esque bouffant updo and dewy make-up. Miuccia Prada would approve, we’re sure! GG

Freida Pinto Looks Pastel Pretty In Prada
Freida Pinto secured herself as our latest style crush as she attended Nylon magazine's 13th anniversary celebration in LA last night. The gorgeous actress, who we can't wait to see in her new film Trishna, teamed Prada’s iconic car-print dress with chic side-swept hair. Someone paid attention at the Salvatore Ferragamo show! Grease-inspired car prints are the ‘It’ print of the season, and you don’t even need a celeb bank balance to afford them – high-street brands including Asos, New Look, Next and Primark have all picked up on the trend, too. Red Carpet Round Up – Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards '12
With a guest list packed full of hot young Hollywood names, you can always count on the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for an eclectic parade of outfits, and Saturday’s bash gave us everything from Dolce & Gabbana to a slime covered crop top!
Kristen Stewart led the orange carpet glamour pack (yes, we did say Kristen Stewart) in a cobalt blue Stella McCartney lace mini and matching Barbara Bui platforms – which she later swapped for Converse to collect her Favourite Movie Actress award - and a vampy, no pun intended, high ponytail. Emma Stone went for simple but statement in an origami pleated Antonio Berardi skater dress accessorised with nude Alejandro Ingelmo and beau Andrew Garfield, finally confirming their romance in public.
Favourite TV Actress and Favourite Female Singer winner Selena Gomez went head-to-head with Favourite Voice From an Animated Movie winner Katy Perry in a battle of the abs, as both ladies opted for midriff baring skirt and crop top combos. Selena sparkled in a baroque Dolce & Gabbana jewelled two-piece, while Katy paid tribute to the awards’ tradition for sliming attendees in a green gunge covered bra top, printed Gerlan Jeans skirt and matching Prada peep toes. You’ve got to give the girl credit for getting in the spirit of things!
Other winners on the night included Adele for Favourite UK Female Artist, One Direction picked up Favourite UK Band, while Justin Beiber took home the Favourite Male Singer gong, making it a double celebration for Tinsletown’s cutest young couple.
