Beauty Trend Alert: Colour-Clash Nails Made Easy!
We’re back with another dose of nail art for you to try. Once again Max Factor and manicurist Zarra Celik have been busy dreaming up the next big nail trend – this time, colour clashing. VJ
- Step One: Paint your nails with two coats of Max Factor Max Colour Effect Mini Nail Polish in Lollipop, £3.99, and wait for them to dry.
- Step Two: Using a nail striper, paint on half moons – an easy way to do this is to is to draw around the cuticle line, then sweep round to make the oval shape. That’s the tricky bit done – now you just have to fill it in. Remember to alternate between the Max Factor Max Colour Effect in Cactus Green and the Candy Blue shades.
- Step Three: Next you have to paint on the tips, alternating between the Cactus Green and Candy Blue colours, use your nail striper to draw a thin line across the top of your nail. Don’t worry if you make any mistakes, you can tidy up the edges with a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.
- Step Four: You’re almost done! When your nails are dry, paint with Max Factor Nailfinity Top Coat, £5.99, to keep your nails looking flawless for longer. Now there you have it, colour clash nails made easy!

We’re back with another new dose of nail art for you to try out. This time, Max Factor and manicurist Zarra Celik have come up with candy couture nails. These pastel beauties are one of spring's hottest beauty trends! Here's how you can get the look:

Meet The New Olympic Faces Of Beauty
With the start of a New Year, everyone's attention is turning towards what's in store over the next 12 months, and one thing we won’t be able to ignore is the Olympics. And in the world of beauty, a whole host of brands are getting top female competitors on side.
Max Factor has led the way with swimmer Keri-Anne Payne becoming the new face of their False Lash Effect Gold Edition Mascara, £10.99. Shown in this gorgeous shot taken by top photographer Rankin, 23-year-old Keri-Anne is a self-confessed beauty addict and was actually the first GB athlete to qualify for the London 2012 games. She told LOOK: “I’m really proud to be an ambassador for Max Factor. As a swimmer, I never thought I'd have the chance to do something so exciting and I’m also a big fan of the brand”. She’s also the face of Oral-B – get her!
Olay has nabbed fresh-faced runner Jessica Ennis, and Pantene Pro V obviously noticed cyclist Victoria Pendleton's luscious locks as she’s the new face of their Smooth & Sleek range. We're sure that as well as looking good, these strong inspirational women will make us feel all proud and patriotic this summer. Roll on the Olympics! LT
