Vanessa Hudgens’ Smoky Eyes: Get The Look
A million miles away from her High School Musical image, Vanessa Hudgens was looking super-sultry and glamorous at the premiere of Sucker Punch. To complement her slinky silver floor-length dress, she chose dark smoky eyes – with a twist. Rather than the traditional simple cat’s eye, Vanessa Hudgens got more dramatic and went for a full-on bat wing! Copy her sexy style by using a smoky eyeshadow all the way around the eyes and over the eyelids, then blend it towards the outer corner of your eyebrows. We recommend L’Oréal Paris Color Infallible Eyeshadow in Eternal Black. CB
Watch our make-up how-to video on how to create the perfect smoky eye.
Check out the gallery below to see other A-listers who have been rocking dramatic eye make-up.

Beauty Tried And Tested: The Best Anti-Aging Creams
Want to find the best anti-aging night creams that'll wind back the clock overnight? Then LOOK's very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Jane Dyson are here to help, as they've searched the high street to find four of the best anti-aging night creams on the high street...
Beauty Editor: This sank in immediately and felt ultra nourishing. My skin looked considerably smoother after just a few days - it’s staying on my bedside table! Jane: I liked this because it was very soft on my skin and I could definitely feel some difference after using it. The scent was faint too so it’s not overly perfumed. Beauty Score: 5/5
Beauty Editor: This silky cream protects skin from UV and pollution and repairs sun damage. My skin felt well rested in the morning but a bit on the sticky side. Jane: This had a faint smell of parma violet sweets and a wonderful silky-soft texture. When I woke up the next morning it felt like it was still working. I’d use this again. Beauty Score: 4/5
Beauty Editor: At first this felt heavy on my skin so I’d only use a little but it definitely boosted my complexion and left my skin looking perkier. Jane: The smell of this reminded me of orange chewy sweets – not what I’d expect from a face-cream! It took a while to absorb but my skin looked brighter the next day. Beauty Score: 3/5
- Avon Anew Reversalist Renewal Night Cream, £20
Beauty Editor: A techy cream that’s designed to make your skin heal itself throughout the night. Sank in fast and made my skin velvety soft but not looking younger. Jane: This cream was rather greasy but did the job in terms of moisturising my skin. I didn’t notice any anti-aging benefits though. Beauty Score: 2/5

Beauty Tried And Tested: The Best Hair Masques
Want to know how to make your hair colour last? Then LOOK's very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Annabel Wilson are here to help, as they've searched the high street to find the four best colour-boosting hair masques to put to the test...
Beauty Editor: Packed full of healthy vitamins, this mask really strengthens your hair and it smells good enough to eat! A small amount is enough so the tub will last for ages. Annabel: Although this strengthened my hair, it didn’t do much for the colour. I also noticed my hair felt greasy the next day, but on the plus side it did leave it smelling gorgeous! Beauty Score: 4/5
Beauty Editor: If it’s a moisture quick fix you need then you’ll love this masque as it leaves hair feeling nourished as soon as you get out of the shower. Annabel: The colour of my hair looked much more intense after using this product, and it felt silky and soft. Beauty Score: 3/5
Beauty Editor: This is a life-saver for dried-out coloured hair. The more moisture you can inject back into your locks, the better the colour will be. After only a couple of treatments your hair will look fab. Annabel: This was definitely my favourite, as the results were instantly noticeable! My hair felt soft and colour looks revitalised. This product relieved my tired and knotted hair in a flash. Beauty Score: 5/5
Beauty Editor: This creamy vitamin-enriched masque will bring your hair back to its full glory. Three minutes is all you need for your colour to look salon fresh again. Annabel: I loved the texture of this product and it went on easily – my brown hair looked fresh and conditioned. Beauty Score: 3/5

Beauty Tried And Tested: The Best Budge-Proof Primers
Need a primer that will keep your make up from giving you the slip? LOOK is here to help... today our very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Lindsay Ricks have put four budge-proof primers to the test...
Beauty Editor: Smoothes into skin easily to create an even base for foundation. It absorbs any excess oil too, so no need to worry about the dreaded shine factor.
Lindsay: This felt really creamy on my skin and instantly made it look matte. I really liked the overall effect and my make-up definitely lasted longer. I would use this primer again on a daily basis. Beauty Score: 5/5
Beauty Editor: This may look a little yellow in the tube but it sinks into skin seamlessly and brightens up complexions so you won't have to wear half as much base.
Lindsay: I liked the consistency of this and it toned down any redness in my complexion. It made my skin look smoother and my make-up appear fresher for hours after I’d applied it. Beauty Score: 4/5
Beauty Editor: Covers up any little skin imperfections and refines pores without looking cakey. Effective enough to wear as your base if you're having a good skin day. Lindsay: Initially I was worried this might make me look pale as it’s quite a light colour but it blended in well and made my skin tone look much more even. It gave me that just applied, dewy skin that I'm always after. Beauty Score: 4/5
Beauty Editor: The peachy colour and silky consistency make this really easy to apply. Blends in so well you can hardly see it, so great for clear skin, not so effective on redness. Lindsay: This delivered exactly what it promised. My skin looked more luminous and radiant immediately. The product casing made it tricky to judge how much to put on though, so it took a while to get used to. Beauty Score: 3/5
