Hair man in the know and Herbal Essences ambassador Ben Cooke, tells us just how to get the look at home. ‘‘The key to this style is volume and you always need to get the base right. Start by washing your hair in a lightweight shampoo and conditioner like Herbal Essences Uplifting Volume. When your hair is damp, comb through a styling mousse – this will give the curls hold. Blow-dry your hair in sections, pointing the nozzle of the dryer from underneath to add volume, then use large tongs to curl 2-3 inch sections, leaving out the very top section of your hair.
