Katherine Heigl And Heather Graham Sizzle In Scarlet
It looks like Katherine Heigl and Heather Graham were on the same wavelength when it came to choosing dresses for their red carpet outings last night. While we all know the failsafe powers of an LBD, you can’t beat a racy red dress when it comes to classic glamour either.
Katherine Heigl went down the dramatic floor-sweeping route in an asymmetric Herve L Leroux gown amped up with jewelled Jimmy Choo heels and chandelier earrings at the One For The Money film screening in New York, while Heather Graham looked ready for cocktail hour in her curve-clinging pencil dress. If last night’s red-carpet looks from Lea Michele and Jennifer Lopez are anything to go by, we reckon champagne is set to be the ‘It’ dress colour this party season. The starlets shimmered on the red carpet at last night’s Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in New York wearing strikingly similar frocks. Lea worked a vintage look in a jewelled Jenny Packham dress, glossy waves and a deep red lip, while Jennifer went for her signature high-octane glam in a slashed to the thigh Versace floor-sweeper complete with a corsage that would give Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money. Kylie Minogue rocked out in a Pucci SS11 dress last night for the opening of The Hurly Burly Show at London’s Garrick theatre. The popster looked fresh-faced in the nude ensemble complete with nude Jimmy Choo slingbacks and a messy updo hairstyle. A red-carpet look if ever we saw one – maybe next time we attend the theatre we’ll leave the jeans at home! As much as we love the lace, embellished, backless and tasselled dress, we can’t help but think that can’t have been a comfy number for sitting and watching a show. We’re on serious Anne Hathaway dress watch. The stunning actress, currently on her promotional tour of Sydney to promote new film Love And Other Drugs, was snapped showing off her enviable figure yesterday in not one but two hot ensembles. Attending a photo call at the Sydney Theatre Company she rocked one of Christopher Kane’s covetable Galaxy dresses – other A-list fans include Claudia Schiffer and Carey Mulligan – and finished off her look with a pair of on-trend Brian Atwood heels.
