Brad Pitt sure didn't disappoint when he turned up to Cannes Film Festival 2012 looking as gorgeous suave as ever.

After changing out of the grey Gucci suit he arrived in Brad went for a classic tuxedo teamed with stylish aviators for the Killing Them Softly premiere. He even had time to sign autographs, take cheeky pictures of the paparazzi and answer a couple of questions on his future wedding plans to Angelina Jolie. Want to see the interview? Thought so...

The Britain's Got Talent contestants weren't the only ones upping the ante for the semi-final at the weekend. Alesha Dixon called in the catwalk big guns for Sunday and Monday nights shows, taking to the stage in high fashion frocks from Mary Katrantzou and Gucci. First up was a popping number from London Fashion Week print queen Mary, which Alesha teamed with pink Charlotte Olympia platforms and bouncy locks, before throwing us a wardrobe curveball on the second night with a sleeker look in embellished, art deco inspired Gucci, a groomed ponytail and dainty strappy shoes.

Sadly, swooning over these pics of Alesha is probably about as close as we'll ever get to her designer hot frocks, but Lipsy are on hand to help us pay tribute, high street style, with their homages. Try layering the embellished bandeau over a sheer long sleeve top for even more of a Gucci feel, or follow Ms Dixon’s lead by choosing a pair of heels that complement out a colour on the floral dress for extra zing. Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all. GG

Solange Knowles gave us a fashion masterclass in styling up her cheek peek mini at the Gucci and GQ cocktail party last night! The star, who was DJ-ing at the do, (and working really hard at showing off her Gucci threads) balanced out her metallic mini with a white draped top, chic cropped blazer and Gucci chain detail heels.

Take note ladies -  showing off your legs and covering up your top half is the perfect way to chic up a mini whilst still being dancefloor perfect. Yes, we know these shots of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are slightly sickening first thing on a Monday morning, but we couldn’t resist. Even both dressed in all-black – Angelina in lacy cut-out Michael Kors and Brad in a Gucci tux – Hollywood’s hottest couple managed to steal the spotlight at the Producers Guild of America Awards 2012 in LA. Brad may have stepped aside to let Ange pose for the paps and show off her sexy thigh split, but she was soon back by his side for a red carpet PDA. Emma Stone broke all the fashion rules when she hit the red carpet at The People's Choice Awards 2012 last night in an emerald Gucci tux and shiny black trousers. Emma shunned the ballgowns and instead opted for a super-sleek tailored look. It's just as well she looked so hot, as the lucky lady scooped two awards, winning Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Comedic Movie Actress. A brilliant actress and a style icon – is there anything this girl can't do?! KA
