Clinique's New Colourpop Lipstick!

Clinique Runway Coral Lipstick

We love a beauty shortcut and Clinique's Runway Coral lipstick is an instant way to update your look. The orangey red suits most skintones and it a great colour for those trying out bright lippie for the first time.

What's more the exclusive new colour has been tried and tested on Karen Walker's Spring Summer catwalk show where the models rocked a nouveau-retro makeup look. We're ditching the traditional red in favour of this shade which looks great with the pastel trend and livens up a trusty denim shirt. IOC

Beauty Tried And Tested: The Best Pearlescent Blushers

Blushers from Christian Dior, The Body Shop, Clinique and Bourjois

Want killer cheekbones to rival Kate Moss? Then LOOK’s very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Holly Naftis are here to help, as they’ve searched the high street to find the four best pearlescent blushers guaranteed to highlight those cheekbones in just one sweep...

Beauty Editor: This had a beautiful pearly finish and gave my cheeks a soft, natural glow. It’s a little on the pricey side, but a great investment buy! Holly:This contained two pretty shades of pink to highlight and add colour to cheekbones. The rosy glow lasted the whole night without me having to reapply. I’d definitely wear it again. Beauty Score 5/5

Beauty Editor: I liked the pinky coral tone and the iridescent finish was lovely. Use your fingertips to apply it, as this creates a more natural flush. Holly: I only needed to apply a small amount, as the colour was very bold. I wasn’t keen on the fiddly little brush and the shimmer effect was a bit too much for me. Beauty Score 3/5

Beauty Editor: This is such a pretty palette that I didn’t want to mess it up! The lightest shade was amazing at highlighting, so I’d use it for that alone. Holly: Easy to apply and it felt soft on my skin. However, the colour was so faint that it’s more of a highlighter than a blusher. I had to reapply it throughout the day. Beauty Score 3/5

  • The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Blush, £15.65

Beauty Editor: A summer make-up bag staple. The waves of colour gave my skin a healthy glow and the shimmer really accentuated my cheekbones. Holly: This left my skin with a sun-kissed glow and the individual colours work well as eyeshadows, too. However, the colour can look a little dark, so I had to apply it sparingly. Beauty Score 4/5

Beauty Tried And Tested: The Best Winter Skin Fixes

Winter Skin fixes by Boots, Vichy, Clinique, La Roche-Posay are put to the test

Need a new moisturiser to help your skin battle the winter weather? Then LOOK's very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Lauren are here to help, as they have searched the high street to put four winter skin fixes to the test...

Beauty Editor: This feels just like velvet once it’s on your skin. It left my face feeling so nourished and calm. It's the perfect product after a cold windy day.Lauren: This felt great for my dry skin – it was easily absorbed and left my cheeks feeling plumped and very soft. The fact that it’s unfragranced means it didn't irritate my already sensitive skin.Beauty score: 5/5

Beauty Editor: Great for instant results. Reduces the appearance of redness, as well as calming any irritation. A handbag must-have for those with sensitive skin who need a quick fix.Lauren: After I used this, my pores seemed smaller and my skin looked smoother in general. It’s great for instant visible results, but takes a little longer to soothe skin. I’d use it again as my complexion looked great afterwards.Beauty score: 4/5

Beauty Editor: Don't be scared by the colour – green actually reduces the appearance of redness. The smell is very medicinal, but it's to be expected as it’s tailored to very sensitive skin.Lauren: My skin felt tighter and luminous after I applied this cream, and it reduced any redness. I really liked the packaging, too. But it did feel a bit on the greasy side and took longer to sink into my skin.Beauty score: 3/5

  • Vichy Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care, £11.50

Beauty Editor: Love the packaging and the pump was so practical. My skin was left feeling refreshed, revived and ready for the next day. Lauren: This cream smelt really fresh and went on my face very well. It's thick and creamy, so a little goes a long way. My skin was left feeling a bit sticky afterwards, though.Beauty score: 4/5

Beauty Tried And Tested: Liquid Highlighters

Liquid highlighters from W7, Clinique, The Body Shop and Me Me Me

Want to know what the best beauty products are before you buy? LOOK is here to help... this week our very own Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner and LOOK reader Sarah Denman have put liquid highlighters to the test...

Beauty Editor: The built-in blush is a great idea but it means it’s only suitable for cheeks. It illuminated my skin but I think the shade is better for darker skintones. Sarah: The pump action bottle meant I could control the amount I used but it looked too heavy for me. The blush is a nice touch though. Beauty Score: 2/5

  • W7 Sun Shine Glow in Pink, £4.40

Beauty Editor: A warm pink shade that gave me a dewy complexion but was still sheer enough to look natural. Great for a pick-me-up after a late night.Sarah:This was translucent so it looked like I had a natural glow. However, I think the packaging lets it down a bit because it’s a better quality product than it looks.Beauty Score: 2/5

Beauty Editor: A few dabs of this on my cheekbones gave me angles that Megan Fox would be jealous of, and the pearlescent, just-pink shade blended perfectly on my skin. Sarah: This one was my favourite because it highlighted my cheeks and had a subtle glimmer that gave my skin a real boost. It blended in well and lasted all day. Beauty Score: 5/5

Beauty Editor: I loved the golden colour of this. It glinted on my cheeks and gave my skin a healthy glow. Apply before a big night out. Sarah: The brush made it easy to apply and the texture was light so it sank into my skin. While it gave me a pretty glow, it didn’t last as long as I would have liked. Beauty Score: 4/5
