Lauren Conrad and Rihanna Cause A Fashion Stir!
With Lauren Conrad storming back onto the scene with a hot pink dip-dye look, Rihanna ditching the grunge and flesh-baring outfits in favour of a Barbie pink gown, and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian co-ordinating their outfits for the second day in a row, we just don't know where to look!
But with the Chanel Annual Tribeca Dinner and Time Magzazine 100 Most Influential People Gala last night, it was always going to be pretty spectacular day for fashion.
If we're honest we think it's time for a sit down and a cup of tea before we can even contemplate thinking about what other shockers lay in store for tomorrow!

She's Back! Lauren Conrad Hits Our Fashion Radar
She's been off the fashion scene for a while, but we've got our fingers crossed that Lauren Conrad is about to be back, big time.
The fashion icon is currently touring the U.S. for a string of promotions on her latest fiction novel The Fame Game - which she claims is based on true storylines from her Hills co-stars - eek! We bet she'll be hitting all the hottest celebrity parties to celebrate.
So whilst we'd put money on our favourite LA girl making a huge style comeback (and hopefully flaunting that Chanel handbag collection for us again), we decided to round up a few favourite looks from the golden girl herself to keep you entertained until she does. HG

Chanel’s Futuristic Paris Fashion Show AW12: We Love!
As one of the most anticipated shows at Paris Fashion Week, we certainly had high expectations when it came to Chanel’s offerings for AW12 and, boy, did Karl Lagerfeld deliver! With a backdrop of a protruding crystalline skyline, the models showcased tweed three-piece suits with gem cuffs and feather appliqué, and oil-slick dresses. And their make-up consisted of crystal-covered eyebrows – very fitting for the Paris catwalks, but probably not suitable for a trip to our local on a Saturday night! And, of course, it wouldn't be a Chanel fashion show without a couple of A-List celebs sitting on the front row. Kooky Katy Perry appeared to be loving her time in France, as she sported a small beret-style hat and a black lace dress to the show, while Alicia Keys opted for ethnic-inspired statement jewellery. All in all, the Chanel fashion show was everything we've come to expect from Lagerfeld – new, fresh, and in a league of its own! ME

Dakota Fanning, Rose Byrne And Freida Pinto Hit New York
Dakota Fanning and Rose Byrne both opted for cool icy blue shades as they hit the red carpet for a magazine event at the Mandarin Oriental Ballroom in New York last night. Dakota Fanning looked super-cute in her Spring 2012 Miu Miu silvery blue dress, as she posed with Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne who had also chosen to wear a similar shade. Rose looked chic in a Chanel white shift dress with a pale blue waterfall ruffle and, like Dakota, had chosen to team her dress with leg-lengthening patent nude shoes. Frieda Pinto was also at the Mandarin Oriental and turned up to the awards in a navy and bright blue dress, which she wore with a minimal pure white coat - no drinking red wine in that one, Frieda! Jennifer Aniston Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Jennifer Aniston has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and picked a cute floral fifties dress for the occasion. The gorgeous number from the Chanel Resort 2012 fashion collection had cut out back detail and a midi length - perfect for her big day. We're glad she left her usual LBD at home and opted for a fresher and more fashion-forward look – she looks better than ever! Jen teamed her Chanel dress with Bally heels and a sunkissed tan. Congrats Jen, you certainly get a fashion gold star from us! FD

Fearne Cotton Wins Best Dressed At The NTAs 2012
It was an evening of celebrity fashion wins at The National Television Awards 2012 last night!
Fearne Cotton ditched her usual rock-chick fashion style and opted for a flapper dress by Temperley London and quilted Chanel bag. Top marks for colour coordination – we love her matchy matchy lips and high heels.
Caroline Flack also attended the event, in a clashing print playsuit by PPQ and Topshop ankle boots. Note how she’s layered her playsuit over a lilac shirt – that’s a celebrity styling trick we’ll be rocking this weekend!
Winning the award for Best Drama Performance for her role in Doctor Who, Karen Gillian worked preppy like a pro in a burgundy velvet dress, All Saints brogues and a bright green bag. Talk about going off duty – cute!
Elle MacPherson took bejeweled to a whole new level in a grey jewel encrusted maxi dress by Tom Ford – with matching bobby dazzler earrings and clutch bag, of course! Clémence Poésy Defies Front Row Fashion Rules At Chanel
As a Chanel muse, you would expect Clémence Poésy to be riding high on the best dressed list at Chanel’s Haute Couture fashion show in Paris last night – and the Birdsong star didn't disappoint with her effortlessly glam style.
Working the monochrome fashion trend in a Chanel jacket, skinny black jeans, biker boots and a statement red clutch bag – plus a hot new fringe – Clémence defied the fashion pack rules by hitting the front row in jeans. What would Anna Wintour say?
We reckon Clémence would just about be forgiven as she is oh-so hot right now, thanks to her lead role in hit BBC drama Birdsong, which pulled in 6 million viewers last weekend. If you haven’t checked out the new series, then set your timers for this Sunday at 9pm – we're hooked! SD

The Celebs Turn Out For Chanel Couture
Chanel’s ready-to-wear shows are an extravaganza in their own right, so Karl Lagerfeld really has to up the ante when it comes to creating a couture spectacle. For SS12, Karl and his model army took fashion flight, showcasing the collection in a specially crafted 247-seater Air Chanel plane inside Paris’s Grand Palais. As chic stewards served champagne from the in-flight trolley, a parade of cocktail evening dresses and full-on gowns, signature suits in tweed and bouclé topped off with Alice Dellal (the face of Chanel’s new ‘Boy’ bag) inspired backcombed hair.
Of course, Uncle Karl’s favourite girls turned out to support him, with Diane Kruger, Vanessa Paradis and Caroline Sieber amongst the A-list attendees. The dress code? Classic Chanel monochrome with a unique styling spin – thigh-high boots from Diane, a boho maxi toughened up with leather from Vanessa and a futuristic take on the skirt suit from Caroline. Oh, what we’d give for a jaunt aboard Air Chanel! GG

Alexa Chung Hits Chanel’s Las Vegas Fashion Bash
Oh what we’d give to bag an invitation to a Chanel soiree. For their latest celebration – the launch of the Numeros Prives exhibition in Las Vegas – the fashion house flew out the style set by private jet for a weekend of fashion fun. The opening night party was awash with Chanel favourites including Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger, Lily Collins and Jessica Alba. All were dressed in head-to-toe Chanel and adorned with Chanel fine jewellery, but each lady went for very different looks.
Alexa Chung, who took to the decks to entertain the crowd, swapped tomboy for cutesy in a pastel blue boucle mini dress and a crystal clutch, while Jessica Alba. opted for classic Chanel monochrome chic in a two tone midi dress. Daring fashionista Diane Kruger went futuristic in a high-necked sequin dress, and Lily Collins took Chanel into boho territory with a floaty maxi dress, loose waves and piled on chains.
With Karl Lagerfeld back in Paris working on Tuesday’s couture show, it was up to the Chanel ambassadors to party for him, and Poppy Delevigne, Rachel Zoe, Caroline Seiber and Leigh Lezark danced the night away to Alexa’s tunes and a set from Imelda May. We’d love to see what the fashion pack look like with a Las Vegas hangover! GG
