Flash Fashion Trend Alert: Silver

Balmain gave their usual rock chick look a metallic makeover and even the very minimalist Calvin Klein got in on the silver action. The British high street has been quick to catch on and top of our silver wish lists are these amazing futuristic heels from Topshop and this heavily embellished dress from Miss Selfridge. Buy them now and trust us, they won’t stay in your wardrobe for long during party season! KA

Jennifer Aniston Leads The Red Carpet Glam Pack
Jennifer Aniston may have colour co-ordinated with the grey carpet at US fashion magazine Elle's 18th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute but by no means did she blend in thanks to her plunging sequined mini dress. The actress outshone the likes of Nicole Richie, Frieda Pinto and Reese Witherspoon in the shimmering Kaufman Franco dress and pewter Balenciaga shoes. We’re just blown away that she didn’t reach for one of her staple LBD’s - more sparkle please Ms Aniston.
The bash was a serious celeb fest, with attendees including Chloe Moretz, Naomi Watts, Evan Rachael Wood and Elizabeth Olsen, who picked up the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star award in a dove grey gown by the designer. GG

Calvin Klein’s Killer Front Row At New York Fashion Week
Yes, yes, we know London Fashion Week SS12 has now started (and we'll keep you fully updated on it!), but we couldn’t resist giving you a final fix from across the pond. The Calvin Klein Collection spring/summer 2012 fashion show was one of the last on the New York Fashion Week schedule, and boy did it bag some seriously A-list fashion fans on the front row. Squeezed onto the plush, white leather seats catwalk-side were Lara Stone, Ashley Greene, Chloe Moretz, Naomi Watts and Uma Thurman, all working the signature Calvin Klein minimalist look.
CK poster girl Lara Stone stood out in her zingy, curve-clinging dresses, accessorised with monochrome heels and her hubby David Walliams. But it was super-cute Chloe whose style we were really lusting over. It may have been her first fashion show, but the star fitted in like a true fashion week pro in head-to-toe Calvin with gorgeous golden waves (we’re officially jealous of a 14-year-old!). After pulling off a front-row look this good, we reckon she’ll have the fashion world at her feet by next season! GG Scroll down to see all the highlights from New York Fashion Week SS12 in the gallery below.
