Cowboy Boots Make A Fashion Trend Comeback!
Ladies, say hello to the new spring trend you can wear right now. That's right, cowboy boots are back on the runway! And with Balmain, Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu all featuriing them on their catwalks, they qualifiy as a 100% guarenteed new-season must-have. These showstoppers all had heels – Marc's stilletto, Miu Miu's ’70s and Balmain's cone – but the standard cuban heel will work just as well. Look for details like a V-shaped top, tooling (leather detailed patterns) and interesting colour combos. Yeehah!

Flash Fashion Trend Alert: Silver
It seems fashion has fallen in love with silver all over again, with the catwalk going sci-fi crazy. Er, hello, that sounds like party-season perfection to us!
Balmain gave their usual rock chick look a metallic makeover and even the very minimalist Calvin Klein got in on the silver action. The British high street has been quick to catch on and top of our silver wish lists are these amazing futuristic heels from Topshop and this heavily embellished dress from Miss Selfridge. Buy them now and trust us, they won’t stay in your wardrobe for long during party season! KA

MTV Movie Awards 2011 Fashion Update: Short And Sparkly
It was a big night in celeb-land this weekend. The MTV Movie Awards 2011 landed in LA so what better way to brighten a very rainy Monday than a massive dose of fashion inspiration.
First up: Kristen Stewart who picked up no less than three awards last night for her Twilight performances (check out all the MTV Movie Awards winners below). She got it so right in a jewel- and safety-pin-encrusted Balmain dress and simple black court shoes, nailing the glam rock chick look. We love her hair and make-up choice too: simple and so KStew.
Leighton Meester followed Kristen Stewart’s lead also wearing a short embellished dress by Balmain. She worked the look with just equally-sparking Pierre Hardy sandals and, again, a simple hairstyle and smoky eyes. Have Leighton and Kristen been swapping style tips?
Last but by no means least is the gorgeous Emma Watson. Not quite as rock-n-roll as the other two ladies but her Marchesa mini dress is still a show stopper. We love the embellished shoulders and neckline set against the clean crisp white… don’t even get us started on those Brian Atwood platform shoes. Emma kept it simple on the hair and make-up front too - we feel a new beauty trend coming on.

Get Kylie Minogue’s Coat On The High Street
Kylie Minogue opted for a rock chic look in super-skinny (and super-shiny) black leather trousers and a purple Balmain feather jacket at an awards ceremony in Madrid. We love the berry colour of this jacket, but don’t care much for the whopping £3,885 price tag! So, make like Kylie in this fab jacket from Miss Selfridge – a snip in comparison at £110, and the perfect festive coat (it is made from turkey feathers, after all). We know which one we’ll be choosing to keep us warm! Now, if only we can find those YSL Tribute pumps on the high street… RS

Drew Barrymore Goes For Gold At Her LA Premiere
Drew Barrymore nailed red carpet glamour in a wow-worthy gold dress by fashion designer Catherine Malandrino at the Los Angeles premiere for her latest film, Going The Distance. The actress ditched her relaxed red carpet style that we’ve grown to love of late for a sleek, chic and ultra-glam get-up as she hung out with co-star and rumored boyfriend (yet again), Justin Long. Contrasting silver platforms by YSL and a waist-cinching gold belt by Balmain finished the look to perfection and managed to steal her the style crown from other celebrity attendees including Kate Beckinsale, The Hills star Stephanie Pratt and Malin Akerman. How much do we want Drew’s wardrobe right now? Someone give that girl's stylist a pay rise! SD

Kate Beckinsale Sparkles at Cannes 2010
Brit actress Kate Beckinsale wowed us on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2010 last night stepping out in her thigh-slashed Balmain autum/winter 2010 gown. This is a daring look for Kate and we love it! Somehow she managed to add even more swoon-factor to her midnight sequin dress with an oversized bling belt, super-high black courts and a strong ponytail. It’s the glamourous Cannes look we’ve been waiting for - thanks Kate! FD

Balmain vs Balenciaga: Superbrands Go Head-To-Head
It’s a super-label stand-off – in the perfume world at least. Balmain launched their fragrance in Selfridges at the end of 2009 and today Balenciaga enters the battlefield with their offering. We couldn’t help but notice the striking similarity between them, right down to the gobstopper lids. Talk about a bit of healthy competition! Mossy rocks a space age Balmain look straight from the shows
We were very impressed with the effort Kate Moss made for the White Light launch in London last night. She showed up to support pal and jewellery designer Shaun Leane in his collaboration with bling diamond brand, Forevermark, in a frock piping hot from the Balmain A/W 2009 catwalk. While boyf Jamie is away on tour with his band The Kills, Kate took a night off from modelling her own collection for Topshop and scrubbed up for a night on the tiles with David Walliams as chaperone. Her space age Balmain frock features the labels now eponymous sharp shoulders first championed by queen of cool and editor-in-chief of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld. While whispers are rife that Balmain is teeting on the edge of over-exposure right now after seeing these pics were just not convinced. And neither is Kate by the looks of it. In usual Mossy style it all got a bit too much by the end of the evening and this zip malfunction (inset) shows us that evening supermodels can eat too much at dinner!
