Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Does Day To Night In Style

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing Stella McCartney and Andrew Gn dresses

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has one of the most covetable wardrobes in Celebville! In just one day, she managed to wear enough designer labels to make even designer fashion destination Selfridges swoon. Rosie was spotted out and about in New York during the day wearing a printed Stella McCartney dress, Alexander Wang heels and a Hermès bag – not forgetting the obligatory Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, of course. Then, later that evening, she attended the Safe film screening wearing (take a deep breath…) an angelic-looking Andrew Gn dress, with a Diane Von Furstenberg bag, Brian Atwood heels and jewellery by Miriam Haskella and Annina Vogel.

Let’s hope Rosie’s heard of cut-price designer fashion re-sale sites, like Brand Alley, Wardrobe Mistress and Shop It To Me – at this rate, she’ll need to make space in her wardrobe, and trust us, we’ll be first in the queue! HE

Outfit Swoon – Christina Ricci Does Sports Luxe

Christina Ricci works the sports luxe trend at a party in New York

Thanks to Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant and Versus to name a few, the sporty trend is unavoidable this season. But before you go to work in trainers or hit the dancefloor in your gym kit, think again! Christina Ricci got the look spot on at the Maiyet launch party in New York last night, teaming slinky, hi-shine shorts with a classic jersey tee and chunky strap wedges.

If you fancy getting in on the sporting action this weekend, head to Topshop for Christina-style shorts – we love the pastel shades, perfect with grey marl. Office and Zara’s sports-inspired shoe offerings are also ticking our trend boxes. On your marks, get set, shop! GG

LOOK Loves: Dorothy Perkins Tile Print Dress

LOOK Loves: Dorothy Perkins' tile print dress

Not into bright blooms? Then here’s a more subtle version for you. Dorothy Perkins' pencil dress has got a heavy dose of catwalk cool with fashion prints similar to those seen at Alexander Wang and Dries Van Noten, but without the bright glare of normal florals. Your new alternative to an LBD, you can wear it desk to bar – all you need to add is a flash of red lippy and you're good to go! FD

Diane Kruger And Karolina Kurkova Do Skirts Over Dresses

Diane Kruger and Karolina Kurkova rock skirts over dresses

Stepping out for a photocall for her new flick Les Adieux De La Reine at the Berlin Fim Festival 2012, Diane Kruger looks ever the pretty Hollywood actress in her statement printed 10 Crosby by Derek Lam dress.

Take a closer look and you'll notice that it has the effect of a skirt over the top of the dress - one of the latest catwalk and high street fashion trends storming celebsville, with Karolina Kurkova choosing the same look in her Alexander Wang dress earlier this week.

OK, sure it's a bit 'out there', but we're loving how unique it is and given that you can pretty much magic up the same vibe by layering any of the skirts in your wardrobe over one of your dresses, in our book that's a pretty fashion fabulous free outfit. And just in time for the weekend... LW

Alesha Dixon Does Sports Luxe

Alesha Dixon works the sports luxe trend at the Britian's Got Talent Auditions

Just last week in LOOK we raved about Alesha Dixon’s Britain’s Got Talent wardrobe overhaul, and it looks like she’s been seriously swotting up on the SS12 fashion trends. The Britiain's Got Talent judge has already sported the shade of the season – saffron yellow – in an Acne maxi, nailed the under-the-sea theme in printed Peter Pilotto, and yesterday, she ticked off the sports luxe trend that stormed the catwalk everywhere from Alexander Wang to Isabel Marant and Victoria Beckham. Alesha wowed in a printed shift dress and white heels with flashes of neon, glossed up with a chunky chain choker. Killer outfit aside, Alesha gets top marks from us for smiling even though her feet must be about to fall off – that’s wardrobe dedication! GG

Lady Gaga Opens Gaga's Workshop At Barney's In New York

Pitcure of Lady GaGa's Pop Up Shop at Barneys' in New York

Lady GaGa unveiled her brand new Christmas pop up shop at Barney’s department store in New York last night, and we don’t think she could have looked more festive! Wearing a Cinderella inspired Chanel ball gown which wouldn’t look out of place on top of the Christmas tree, (or as a loo roll cover, depending how you look at it), the singer accessorised with miles of pearl necklaces, a corsage and feather headpiece and Alexander Wang sunglasses.

The 5,550 square foot workshop will sell almost 170 different products inspired by Lady GaGa including toys, clothing, media, accessories and sweets, with 25% of all sales going to Lady GaGa’s Born This Way Foundation.

Blake Lively also attended the event wearing a chic cobalt blue trouser suit by Elie Saab. We love how she upped the glam factor by going topless underneath, let's just hope she’s nice and secure!

Lady GaGa's’ workshop is open until 2 January 2012 – anyone fancy a last minute New York dash? HE

They Could Be Catwalk! Topshop’s Silver Loafers

Planet heeled loafers, £95 at Topshop, a model on the Alexander Wang catwalk

If Alexander Wang says space-age silver-heeled loafers are big news for autumn/winter, who are we to argue? And it seems Topshop agree, as we’ve just clocked these tasselled platform lovelies online (we can’t get through a day without checking what’s just landed). If metallics aren’t your bag, snap up the black version instead. We’ve already told you the heeled loafer is the shoe hit of the season, and with this pair packing in the catwalk credentials, what are you waiting for?
