Primark. Gorgeous homeware. A new YouTube crush.
What more can you ask for from a dreamy high street collaboration? Not much, we agree.
Everyone likes to spruce up their home. Whether you’ve got a flat, a room or just a corner of a shared space, add some colourful cushions, some fairy lights or some scented candles, and you’re instantly transported to a happy place.
Gabriella, the YouTuber behind Velvet Gh0st, is another power vlogger who’s going from strength to strength. With over 600,000 subscribers to her channel, she shares beauty, music and lifestyle with her fans – including a lot of home hauls, as she’s moved from place to place.

Talking about her new collection with Primark, she said: “I’ve always loved Primark homeware. If you look back at my Youtube channel, you’ll see I’ve always made videos with Primark homeware. I think it’s so affordable and such nice quality, so you get the best of both worlds. It’s so good for my audience as well, who are mostly school and university age, and just want something affordable that looks nice to re-do their room.”
So how did pieces come together? “We did some mood boards at first and I decided upon a grey, mint green and pink for the theme, with quite a bit of rose gold in there, because I just love a little pop of something that you wouldn’t really expect.”
Starting from just £1.80 (WE KNOW) the range includes cushions, kitchen cups, duvet sets and, our personal favourite, the rose gold LED lights.
One of the design influences was Gabby’s very own cat, Nellie. She said: “I knew that I wanted to incorporate cats because I love cats! And then, as it happened, the cat drawn up looked like Nellie, which was fine by me. He looks so cute stood next to the cushion!”
Gabriella also picked out another of her favourite pieces: “The eye mask… I think it’s really cute, and I didn’t expect it to be furry; it’s super soft.”

It seems like the collaboration is a pretty big deal for the vlogger, who revealed: “Every time I went in and looked at the homeware, I was always like: ‘I would love to do something like this’. I’ve always loved homeware and I’ve always wanted to do interior design as well.”
We can’t wait to get our hands on these gorgeous new buys. Another Primark hit? For sure.
