Whitney Port Reveals Her Handbag Beauty Essentials

When we’re not swooning over her wardrobe, we’re on constant watch to see what beauty products she’s loving. But lucky for you, we have all that here in one place! We spoke to the fashionista herself, in time for her birthday, to find out what beauty and fashion must-have’s she seriously swears by…

What beauty product do you use the most during Spring?

I pretty much always have my legs on show, so to keep them looking good, I swear by Gillette Venus & Olay Razor, £7.33. It gives the closest shave because it has five blades, and the super-moisturising gel strips mean you don’t have to worry about using a shaving gel.

How do you get your amazing dewy glow? We’re very jealous!

I stick to a very strict skincare routine. I never sleep with my make-up on and I try to keep my skin as moisturised as possible. Right now, I’m loving Olay Essentials Complete Care Plus Multi-Radiance, £9.99, as it’s a hydrating moisturiser that also protects from the sun. Then I use Bobbi Brown SPF 15 Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser, £29.

Hugo Boss fragrance and Lucas Paw Paw Ointment Hugo Boss Nuit Pour Femme is her fave fragrance, and she doesn’t go anywhere without her cult Lucas Paw Paw Ointment

What things are always at the bottom of your handbag?

When I’m travelling, I make sure I have my Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, £5.25 on me at all times. It’s great for dry lips or skin. Rodial Glam Balm Hand Cream, £27.30 is also a great handbag essential, because it’s really moisturising but not tacky. And, finally, I always carry Murad Hydrating Toner, £23. It’s great for rehydrating skin and waking me up.

What is your favourite scent right now?

I have a few perfumes that I switch between, but my current favourite is Hugo Boss Nuit Pour Femme, £34 for 30ml.

Max Factor nail polish MAC brow gel Whitney’s favourite Max Factor polish and MAC brow must-have

What spring/summer beauty trend are you loving right now?

I’m channelling big brows at the moment. I use MAC Brow Set, £13.50, to add definition and shape. I can’t be bothered with pencils!

Are you still a big fan of nail art? What shades will you be sporting this summer?

I think Aztec prints for festivals can look really cute. But if I’m wearing quite a fussy outfit, I’ll just go for plain bright reds, hot pinks or corals for summer. I love Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in Cute Coral, £5.99.

How do you decide on your hair and make-up looks for big events?

I’m a massive fan of Pinterest, I have a pinboard called ‘Strands & Lashes’ on my page, which is where I keep all my hair and make-up inspiration.
