Its not only the amazing gowns that were lusting over from the Haute Couture collections, the make-ups pretty impressive too!
If you havent yet fixed your eyes on the new Haute Couture collections, then you should do so, ASAP. Not only has the catwalk displayed some amazing gowns that we could only dream of owning, there are also many looks that can be achieved in your day-to-day lives. Were obviously not talking about the full-length frocks and sky-scraper shoes, but the make-up displayed throughout the shows. At Christian Dior the magical, porcelain theme was portrayed not only in the clothes but also on the models' faces. Models strutted down the catwalk with flawless skin, long luscious lashes and bright pink lipstick. All these looks are easy to recreate if you have the right products. We recommend the excellent lashes from Ardell, MACs legendary Lipglass and Cliniques foundation. The thing we loved most about the models at the Christian Dior show was their crazy hair; if these shows are anything to go by then you should turn down the heat on your straighteners and up the volume on your crimpers as crimping is back in a big, big, way!
