Trend Alert! Boy Haircuts

Trend Alert! Boy Haircuts
23 June 2008

It seems long flowing locks are a thing of the past as celebs chop their hair off in favour of a more boyish style!

Agyness Deyn, Sarah Harding and Pixie Geldof have something in common this month - they've all been showing off their latest boyish styles.

The girls have opted for a peroxide blonde, boyish pixie crop inspired by Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick. The haircut became popular for women when it appeared in Vogue in the beginning of the 1960s.

Its easy to see why the edgy boy cut has become popular again. Not only is it a no-maintenance style, but it also accentuates the face and makes fine hair look sleek and thick.

The hairstyle looks best on small feminine features as it brings out the eyes and face. It's also strictly for the confident out there, as it takes attitude and confidence to remain sexy and feminine with a male haircut.

If you're feeling brave go for the chop now!
