Victoria Beckham snubs London to visit Manchester for her new perfume launch.

Mrs Beckham hit Manchester's Harvey Nichols today not for the usual shopping trip, but to launch her and Davids Signature fragrance.

The 34-year-old caused mayhem before she turned up - rumour has it she was not impressed that the department store only had a red carpet instead of the lavender one she had requested, so apparently she bought her own!

Posh posed for fans on her carpet in a tight-fitted white dress with furry back.

The launch was meant to take place in London but Posh told the Manchester Evening News why she changed her mind, 'I said please can I go to Manchester instead I love Manchester, its got a really good feel to it. It's just so fashion conscious.'

We can't imagine Londons Harvey Nicks will be too welcoming to Victoria on her next London visit!
