Too Faced Love Palette: Romantic Eye Makeup Made Easy

When it comes to lipstick, we’ll wear any colour under the sun, from neon orange to the deepest burgundy via glittering gold. But eyeshadows just seem that bit trickier to pull off; there’s colour pairings to think about, and we can never seem to avoid the dreaded creasing by midday. All those beautiful colours look so promising in the pan, but you actually only end up using three of the ten shades. However, things are about to change, because we’ve just made a stellar discovery…

Too Faced’s Love Palette, £45, will answer all your eyeshadow-related worries. Inside, you’ll find fifteen shimmer, pearl and matte shadows organized into three beautiful colletions, with six mini diagrams to create a look for both day and night. And to boot, there’s a black waterproof liner included too.

Each sketch instructs where to apply the colours, allowing you to build the shades to create your desired look. Our beauty intern Annie put the looks to the test…

Every eye palette should come with how-to diagrams…

Pure Love – Day Look

The ‘day’ version of Pure Love consists of a highlighing shade up to the brow bone, with shimmering gold over the lid and a choclate brown in the socket and along the crease – a brown smokey eye to flatter every skin tone.

True Love – Night Look

True Love’s night look is sultry in palest pink and a rich glittery purple, with a touch of pink shimmer on the inner corner of the eye.

We’re converted. Each look took a matter of minutes to put together, whether you’re facing a day at work or a night on the town. Frankly, it’s worth spending those few extra minutes in the morning focusing on your peepers – especially when they can look this good!
