Eyeko Launch The First Personalised Mascara

We’ve all had one of those days where your mascara just will not do what you want. You know, when you’ve applied coat upon coat but one eye just won’t match the other, so you’ve taken it off and re-done it a good 20 times, but it keeps clumping up?

If you’ve ever forgotten your old faithful and had to borrow a friends mascara, you’ll know that certain formulas and brushes suit different lashes. What might transforms someone else’s stubby lashes into fluttering falsies could fall short on your own.

Alex Chung is a huge fan of this new concept

Which is why we are so excited about the launch of the Selfridge’s personalised mascara service – yep you heard right, a mascara created just for you!

Owned by cult makeup brand and mascara mogul Eyeko, the personalised service sits in the beauty floor of Selfridges where you can go and get your very own custom made mascara. Alexa Chung Instagramed a photo of the seriously sleek counter, captioning it: “Before I speak my mascara bespoke. Tadaaaaaaa My @eyeko #BespokeMascara is now available @theofficialselfridges London.”

Get the perfect mascara to suit you

So, how do you go about getting your one of a kind mascara? Just book in for a one-to-one consultation with an Eyeko Mascara Editor (no I’ve never heard of that before either but it sounds pretty cool), who will listen to your lash wants and needs and prescribe the perfect brush and custom formula for whatever lash look you fancy.

This is not the first bespoke counter launched by Eyeko, it was infact followed on from the huge success the counter had in Harvey Nichols in Birmingham and London.

There are over 100 combinations and each bespoke mascara is made right in front of your eyes, you can even get your wand personalised with your initials – how cute! Once you’ve got your wonder wand they’ll wrap it in their seriously luxe couture packaging – and for only £30, it’s the perfect gift for a friends or family, or, if you’re a fan of self gifting (who isn’t?) go get one for yourself!
