The French Girl’s Guide To Ultra Chic Nail-Art

Ooh la la, this season Paris are officially nailing it in the mani stakes. We spotted nail-art cropping up at some of the hottest shows for AW15/16 and naturally the French the made it uber-chic.

At Mugler we saw Karlie Kloss and co’ rocked understated nude mani’s with just a lick of graphic black polish from the side to the centre of the nail. Nail Guru, Marian Newman used Kure Bazaar Nail Polish in Rose Milk, as a base and Kure Bazaar Nail Polish in Kohl for the accent.

Over at Manish Arora we spied gleaming gold mani’s that we couldn’t help but fall head over heels for. With gold stripes and tiled prints in metallic and glossy finishes they were seriously eye-catching without looking OTT on the glitz.

Kenzo kept things cool with gold and burgundy mani’s accented with monochrome feathers – love! Start with a base of Barry M’s Nail Effects Foil in Gold, £3.99, or Essie’s Nail Polish in Carry On, £10.95. Then use Rimmel’s 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polish in White Hot Love, £2.99, and New Look’s Pure Colour Black Nail Polish, £2.99, to brush on the feather effect. Use an old thin fluffy shadow brush to cheat the wispy feather finish.

There you have it, Parisian chic, nailed!
