Taylor Swift’s Most Magical Beauty Looks

It’s #TaylorSwiftFriday over at NME.com today, and because she’s on the cover this week, we’ve decided to round up her most magical beauty looks of all time…

1. Taylor Does Turquoise

There’s not many stars who could pull off aquamarine eyeliner on the red carpet -try Clarins’ Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Aquatic Green, £17 for a similar effect – but Tay-Tay is certainly one of them. We love her neat little ballerina bun, and the flattering bangs around her face – this was long before the days of her signature side-sweep fringe!

The Fragrance Foundation Awards, June 2013

2. The Classic Red Lip

It’s no secret that Taylor loves a red lip. And at the premiere of her film The Giver, she made sure they were the centre of attention by paring back the rest of her makeup, with cat eyes and flushed cheeks – a classic combo. Daniel Sandler’s Micro-Bubble Lipstick in Titanium Micro Red, £13.25, is the perfect shade of cherry red if you want to recreate Taylor’s pout.

The Giver film premiere, August 2014

3. Smokey Eyes

If you could pull your eyes away from that amazing jumpsuit, then you would’ve noticed Taylor’s super smokey eye peeping out from beneath that choppy fringe. And the grey tones only enhance those sparkling blue eyes.

Billboard Music Awards, May 2015

4. Egyptian Kohl

Taylor takes inspiration from Cleopatra with thick midnight blue eyeliner and fluttery lashes. And with eyes like that, all you need is a sleek pony to complement it.

MTV Video Music Awards, August 2015

5. Copper Eyes

We LOVE the burnt copper tones against the blue of Taylor’s eyes and her pastel earrings – MUA’s Mono Eyeshadow in Copper, £1, is the perfect dupe shade. And it goes without saying that we still adore her sweeping fringe, but she looks just as beautiful with those locks scraped back too.

People’s Choice Awards, January 2013
