Red Hot Hair Tints: The New Celebrity Hair Trend
Hair-colour trend alert! Angelina Jolie and Cat Deeley have both stepped out sporting poker-hot red hairstyles. Relax though – red doesn’t need to be as bright as a double-decker bus, subtle rust or copper tints work wonders for pepping up pale skin. We spoke to Christophe Robin, expert colourist for L’Oréal Paris, who told us which tones to go for.
“Red is such a sexy colour. If you want it to look subtle, it needs to be close to your natural hair colour. If your hair is quite dark, choose a mahogany tint, if you’re brunette go for a coppery red and if you’re blonde, try a warm strawberry hue.”
