Amazing purple lips were our top spot on the red carpet last night, as actress Anne Hathaway and model Petra Nemcova both sported the hot new beauty look at the Princess Grace Awards Gala in New York . Could we finally be giving our pillar-box red lipstick the boot in favour of this new celeb favourite? We think we might! Purple lipstick is super-wearable on every skin colour – paler complexions, like Anne's, should go for a warmer matte mauve stain, but tanned or dark skin can afford to go for a punchier glossy electric violet.
