Christmas Party Makeup Looks With Primark

Super affordable and easy as pie.

It’s that time of the year again Christmas events, work parties, just how does one go about looking absolutely fabulous when they’ve spent a whole day at work.

Over here at Look we believe they key to successful last minute makeup is keep it quick and keep it simple. If you know you’re not amazing with a makeup brush, don’t attempt to create that jet black smoky eye.

When it comes to getting your glam on while sitting at your desk, there are 3 really easy things you can do that will instantly spruce up your old makeup when you don’t have the time to restart your whole face from scratch.

The first, and probably the easiest thing is to apply a slick of lipstick. it doesn’t have to be red, but it’s a classic and a crowd pleaser. We suggest a matte liquid lipstick as this has the most staying power of all lip colours, so will be guaranteed to still be there 5 drinks into the night.

Next, and probably the most obvious thing to do is reach for a dark, sparkly eye shadow palette. But be warned, the darker, more intense the shade the less room you’re leaving yourself for mistakes.

Go for a subtler smoky eye. Pinks, reds and greys are a much better suggestion. Use your fluffiest brush and blend, blend, blend. To take the look into more of an evening one, highlight the inner corners of your eyes using a silver or gold highlighter stick.

Finally, if you’re not in the mood to change your makeup, there’s nothing a coat of sparkly nail polish cant do for a party look. If you’re after serious glitter, make sure you paint more than one coat.

The beauty of glitter polish is you can paint it over whatever you’ve already got on your nails. Even chipped nails look good with glitter on. It’s foolproof.
