As New York Fashion Week is coming to an end, this is the perfect time to look back and reflect on some of LOOK’s favourite beauty trends of the shows.

There was a gorgeous variety of styles stepping across the catwalk, but there were a fair few that have especially caught our eyes and that we can’t wait to flaunt for ourselves come SS17 – yay!

Whether they were slicked back and sleek or busy and boho, we couldn’t take our eye off the gorgeous braids at NYFW.

We adore the low key eye makeup that we predict will be a huge beauty trend for SS17.

It feels like we are starting to take steps away from in your face, dramatic  looks and next season naked eyes will truly dominate the makeup scene.

There’s no complaints here – imagine the time saved getting ready!

Belt Up

There’s nothing like a bit of fashion-meets-beauty accessorising, and we LOVE the belted ponytails as seen on the Tibi catwalk.

The fun spin on the classic pony has generated a lot of attention, and that’s not surprising. We can’t wait to see how high street brands recreate the trend come 2017.

One hue we saw heaps of throughout fashion week was blue. Whether it was baby, royal or navy blue, we spied in on the eyes, lips and nails.

We especially love Thom Browne’s icy blue lips – talk about an excitingly unique trend!

New York Fashion Week has officially made the buzz cut chic. It has probably got to be the most effortless hair trend to date, we can’t wait to see who’s brave enough to make the cut.
