Backstage at Fashion Month isn’t just where trends start, it’s the place brand new products are unveiled. And who better to be beauty guinea pigs than top supermodels like Kendall, Gigi and Karlie?
Mark your calendar, these new launches are set to transform your skin, hair and nails. Here are the fresh products we can’t wait to add to our kit…
New ‘It’ Hair Brand: Evo
Meet the new Aussie hair brand we’ve become a bit obsessed with. Evo made its Fashion Week debut at LFW’s Fyodor Golan where hair stylist Kenna used a combo of products to get beachy texture through the ends and a waxy feel through the roots.
Evo Salty Dog, £14.50 – salt spray used on mid-lengths and ends.
Evo Shebang-a-Bang, £14.50 – spray wax used on roots.
New ‘It’ Nail Brand: Jin Soon
Born in Korea, Jin Soon Choi is a backstage legend in New York, and her nail 5-free, long-lasting, non-toxic and vegan friendly nail range, Jin Soon, is now available in the UK, £7.50 each. The new pastel collection was showcased on the tips of nails at Tibi.
Sunday Riley Blue Cleansing Balm
A blue cleanser…yep, that’s the secret to how the models at Victoria Beckham looked so glowy. Sunday Riley Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm, £46, is packed with moringa butter, beeswax and blue tansy (which gives it ‘that’ colour). Models were given pre-make-up facials in under ten minutes.
Redken Glow Boosting Oil
Meet the instant giver of gloss for your hair. It’s lightweight but gives that elusive supermodel sheen. “A few drops of Redken’s Diamond Oil Glow Dry, £32.50, is all we need to get the models hair to look super-shiny”, says hair guru Guido backstage at the Victoria Beckham show.

Zoya ‘Naked Manicure’
Think of this as foundation for your nails. The clever optical fibers in each of the formulas make your nails look ‘just manicured’ in seconds.
Step 1: Apply the Naked Base Coat, £11.95
Step 2: Add a layer of the Lavender Perfector, £8.95 to remove any discolouration.
Step 3: Pick a perfector, £8.95 each, that matches your skintone, and apply two coats.
Step 4: Whiten your tip with a swipe of the semi-sheer Tip Perfector, £11.95.
Step 5: Apply a Satin Seal Topcoat to blur the white tip so it looks super-natural.
Orly Mega Watt Nail Collection
The long-wearing new gel-meets-polish Color Amp’d Collection, £15 each, was used backstage at Fyodor Golan in contrasting City of Angels blue and Sunset Strip neon orange. “You only need one coat of each shade – they’re so pigmented”, says manicurist Sabrina Gayle.
Skin Inc Prescription Serums
We discovered this brand backstage at Alice + Olivia where models were exfoliated with the Pure Revival Peel, then given a boost with a 10-minute hydrating mask. Each lucky model had their own prescription serum, £58 each, made based on their skin. Make your own personal blend after filling out a survey on the website, www.iloveskininc.com.
