Have you seen the new issue of Look yet? This week’s I’m Loving is spot-on (even if we do say so ourselves) – it’s almost as if we knew the sun would be back out to play today. Look Editor, Ali Hall, showed off a trio of lighter bases she uses for sun-ready skin. And now that it’s hotting up outside, there’s one in particular we’re reaching for.
Estée Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme CC Cream, £40, is a brilliant base on all levels, firstly because even sun-starved skin can get an instant glow with the smallest drop. It’s light, so it lets your natural tone shine through, but applies a veil over patches of reddened skin. Basically, you’ve got that no make-up look sorted, but your blemishes are covered.
And we have to tell you how the cream feels, with a silky finish that means you can apply with your fingers and it’ll glide on, yet dry down to a semi-matte finish.
But want to know the best bit of all? It comes out as a white lotion, and the clever molecules adapt to colour-match your complexion. Pretty handy when out skintone’s changing day by day – savvy summer buy or what?
