Katy Perry To Launch Her First Fragrance
First a guest appearance on The X Factor, then whisperings of a movie and now her very own fragrance! Is there anything Katy Perry can’t do?
In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Katy spilled the beans on her debut scent, saying: “There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I'm bringing is not like any other. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I'd smelled before.” Well, we’re certainly intrigued!
Of course, in true Katy Perry style, everything about the perfume is ultra-kitsch – from the cat-shaped bottle (yes, really!) to the totally girlie mix of fruit, roses and sweet vanilla. Due to hit the shelves in the US in November, annoyingly we’ll have to wait a little longer… watch this space. Oh, but if you do happen to be Christmas shopping in New York, pick us up a bottle! KS
