How To Get The Perfect Baftas-Style Bun

As awards season gets well underway, we thought we’d treat you to a little hair how-to of the most sought after look so far – the bun. With celebs sporting it at the Grammys, the Baftas and the Golden Globes, we’ve got an easy step by step from hairstylist Charles Worthington who created the amazing topknots at the Baftas. Enjoy!

Step 1: Start by applying Limited Edition Volume Big Bouncy Spray, £5.19, to dry hair, then blow-dry it in to give your style ultimate hold that’ll last all evening.

Step 2: Curl the ends with tongs or a wand to give the hair movement. Then run your fingertips through the ends with a little Front Row High Definition Crackle Wax, £6.29.

Step 3: Pull all your hair into a loose ponytail at the crown and then twist it into a bun.

Step 4: Once it’s tight, tease out stray hairs to give the final look a really soft finish. Secure with hair pins and a spritz of Brilliant Shine Max Hold Hairspray, £5.19.
