Dark nail polishes are a thing of the past. This summer, its all about neon nails.

Neon nail polish is the nail colour of the moment. Inspired by the 80s, bright colours have been seen on the fingertips of pop stars Rihanna and Lily Allen.

The recent trend has evolved from the Spring catwalk - designers Louis Vuitton and Phillip Lim sent their models down the catwalk in the hottest shades.

If you normally stick to darker shades, now is the perfect time to showcase your neon nails. Bright pinks and oranges will enhance your holiday tan and brighten up your post-winter fingers and toes.

Keep your nails short and make sure nails are clean and buffed to perfection before you paint.
