Want catwalk-worthy waves?!

Get Victoria’s Secret Hair In 5 Easy Steps

Since we saw them strut down the runway all eyes have been on Victoria’s Secret’s finest, yes we mean you, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Jourdan Dunn. But it wasn’t just the lavish lingerie and wonderful wings that left us obsessed with all things angelic, for the LOOK Beauty desk, it’s all about the hair. With sky-high volume and heavenly bounce; we caught up with ghd’s International Hair Guru, Akki Shirakawa to get all the secrets behind those flawless locks.

Here are the top tips to get halo-worthy hair…

Curl It Up: Use the ghd Curve Classic Curl Tong, £110, to give lengths big bouncy curls, leave the top section of your hair straight for now. Don’t worry too much about crafting the perfect ringlets with this look, it’s more important to cheat body and movement.

Make Waves: Next, use the ghd Curve Soft Curl Tong, £110, to create a few relaxed waves through the top section of your hair. This’ll ensure your locks look natural without entering goliclocks territory.

Leave It Loose: Ensure your curls are cool just like the VS angels, by leaving the end of the strand straight. Model’s ends were deliberately left loose, long and unfinished for an authentic ‘London Edge’.

Have a Blast: If your hair is still looking a bit ‘done’, grab the ghd Air Hairdryer, £99. A quick blast of hot then cold air will be enough to soften any ringlets.

Spray Away: Perfect your Victoria’s Secret do’ with a fine mist of hairspray to hold everything in place. Don’t use too much product – take your cue from the angels and keep it natural, fun and totally gorgeous.
