The metallic navy blue eyes we saw on the catwalk at Jeremy Scott’s SS13 fashion show, were one of our favourite make-up looks for spring. The dark-blue/black combo is a winner if you want to give your eyes the glam factor. Now we’re making it easy-peasy to recreate this look for yourself.
Step One: Start by prepping your lids with Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion, £14. Next, dust LOOK Beauty Statement Eyes Shadow in Denim, £4, across your whole lid – the metallic sheen will really make your eyes stand out.
Step Two: The matte black finish of LOOK Beauty Statement Eyes Shadow in LBD, £4, is perfect for contouring, so blend it into your socket line to create a smoky look. Then, using a liner brush, dust it along your lower lash line. PRO Tip: Always do your eye make-up before you start on your complexion, that way, if any shadow drops down you won’t have to reapply foundation.
Step Three: Apply a dot of LOOK Beauty Statement Eyes Shadow in Lamé, £4, to the inner corners of your eyes. Then line the inner rims of your eyes using LOOK Beauty Long Last Liner Pencil in Rock Chic Black, £4. Finish with a couple of coats of LOOK Beauty Lash Attach Mascara in Ultra Black, £7.
Et voila – we told you it was easy to get this look! VJ
