Fearne Cotton’s Hairstyle At The Brit Awards 2010: Get The Look
Fearne Cotton had us swooning over her messy fishtail plaited hairstyle at the Brit Awards 2010 this week. The TV presenter rocked one of spring/summer 2010’s hottest hairstyles, as seen on the Alexander Wang catwalk. After practising for many hours and failing miserably, we got on the phone to Salon Stylist Of The Year Mark Woolley to find out the quickest and easiest way to get Fearne’s hairstyle. Here are his fool-proof steps: SD
Step 1: Apply a mousse before rough drying to create hold and body. Step 2: Back-comb the hair for extra body and height with a tail comb. Step 3: Take small sections of hair over to one side and pin in place at the back of the neck. Step 4: Interweave the sections to create a tousled look. Step 5: With the bulk of hair at one side, create a loose, wide plait. Leave three inches at the bottom and secure with a clear band. Step 6: Use a tail comb to gently pull a few loose strands from the front of your hair so it looks messy. Step 7: Set in place with a hair spray.
