Determined Dannii Minogue changes her hair three times in three days as she battles to beat Cheryl Cole in the style stakes.

Can you blame a girl for trying Ever since they appeared alongside each other on the X Factor panel last year, Cheryl and Dannii have been fighting it out in a fierce but friendly frock off - and this year, its still all to play for.

What with Cheryl grabbing all the headlines after stepping out in that revealing birthday dress earlier in the week, Dannii then pulled out all the stops to compete with her 11-years-younger rival.

First up, Miss Minogue arrived in Manchester on Friday sporting a cute blunt bob with a heavy cut fringe. Then, for the second day of Manchester auditions, the fringe was gone in place of a chic side-swept parting. Finally, as Sunday dawned, the 37-year-old stepped out sporting a fresh, youthful bouffant do, with her fringe pushed back into a super-high quiff.

She certainly gets 10 out of 10 for effort from us, as we reckon her hard work has most definitely paid off. Cheryls really got to up her game this year Bring on the live shows!
