If you haven’t heard of Crème De La Mer, your bank balance is probably better off for it.
Developed by aerospace physicist Max Huber, the cult skincare is praised (and by praised, we mean bowed down to) for its gravity-defying, anti-ageing and super hydrating powers.
The product has a pretty much legendary reputation and massively loyal following, which includes the likes of Rihanna and Kim Kardashian.
If a product is hot on both RiRi and Kim K’s radar, it’s most definitely got a star quality to it.
So, what’s the catch? We’d pin it on the more than hefty price tag.
100ml of the stuff will set you back a big, fat £300 – which makes our bank balances cringe just a teeny tiny bit.
But, the glowing reviews of Creme De La Mer have always made it oh-so tempting to take the plunge and purchase.
The skincare supreme brand are now extending their empire and releasing a makeup line – yay!
The makeup range is called Skincolor De La Mer and blurs the line between makeup and skincare. Flawless skin without tones of makeup? Yes please!
The products still promise to maintain La Mer’s famous luxury quality, but you’ll be pleased to know their makeup will be oh-so slightly more affordable.

The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF 20, £80. This foundation is the key to perfecting the no-makeup makeup look and swears to improve your skin as you wear it.
The Concealer £55. A weightless formula that can be taken anywhere for touch ups. Hello flawless complexion!
The Powder, £65. This gives your skin radiant, even and all-round gorgeous texture. Wear alone or over your foundation for extra coverage.
The Foundation Brush, £50. So soft and makes getting that perfect base easy as pie.
The Powder Brush, £45. The luxe brush has antibacterial bristles and is the ideal shape for both applying and blending.
