Mr Frosty was the beauty inspiration at the Elie Saab Haute Couture show!
White eye shadow has never been one of our top make-up buys, but after seeing the models strut down the Elie Saab Haute Couture catwalk, we were addicted. Not only did the white eye shadow match the White collection, presented by the designer, it also was a clever beauty trick. After working and playing hard over Haute Couture week, the whit eye shadow was a beauty saviour for the models as it complimented their pale complexions and brightened their tired faces. If you want to copy the look then head to Benefit Benefit and snap up their Mr Frosty eyeliner and snap up MACs Gessowhite eyeshadow. Just one tip ladies, avoid fake tan beforehand!

Max Factor and Pat McGrath relaunch iconic Lipfinity range.
We've all heard the stories about lipstick sales surging in times of recession, and so have Max Factor by the sounds of it. This month they relaunch their long-lasting Lipfinity range of food, drink and kiss resistant lip colours in four Limited Edition catwalk-inspired shades. Max Factor Creative Director Pat McGrath (the award winning make-up artist who regularly creates show stopping looks at Stella, Prada, Dior et al) has helped to create the new colours confirming that lipstick will continue to be a huge beauty story in 2009. The colours range from a soft pink to a intense mauve and echo the current trend for neutral, matt lips as seen on the likes of Heidi Klum and Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto on this years Oscars red carpet. Its no substitute for the fire engine red lips that Kim Kardashian was sporting earlier in the month but not every day can be a red lipstick day, can it Plus were loving the fact that one application lasts nearly all day making this our ultimate penny-saving product for Spring! Available in Boots and Superdrug stores from April 2009, for a limited while stocks last period.

Blue eyeshadow is making a comeback - if Gucci have anything to do with it!
If Pat Butcher and Jordan spring to mind when you think of blue eyeshadow then you need to think again, as thanks to Gucci, blue eyeshadow is making a comeback for Spring/Summer 2009! After watching Burberry and Giles shows and seeing nude lips and barely there make-up, it was exciting to see striking colours return to the catwalk. Sleek and shiny hair with loose curls were combined with '70s style make-up in shades of electric blues and greens. It was by far the sexiest look we've seen at the Spring/Summer shows. Guccis look is pretty easy to recreate - all you need is a bright blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner and mascara. Keep the rest of your face light and fresh and avoid blusher in case of make-up overload. Lips should be nude, which is a massive trend for next season.

Get The Beauty Look: Temperley AW11
In-between the chaos of London Fashion Week AW11, we managed to stop by and have quick masterclass with make-up guru and global director of Revlon Ms Gucci Westman. Hot off the press, she showed us how to create the Temperley London AW11 look...
- Step 1: Using a foundation brush, start in the middle of your face and brush outwards using Revlon’s PhotoReady Compact Foundation, £12.99. Remember not to put foundation on your eyelids – it’ll make the shadow slide!
- Step 2: Gucci mixed two shadows together to get the perfect eye. Using the purple from the Colorstay Eyeshadow Quad in Sunrise Sunset, she told us to pat it onto the lid (this ensures longevity) and then follow with the grey from the Colorstay Eyeshadow Quad in Steel Impression, £7.99.
- Step 3: We then lined the lower lashes with Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Black Velvet, £7.29, and pulled the skin taut to apply the Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black, £7.99 to the top lashline.
- Step 4: Lips were coated with the Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm in Flame, £7.99 (out in June). Scribble over lips with the marker and lock in the colour with the balm on the end – a definite summer staple!
Ta-da – perfect catwalk make-up in an instant! SF
